位置很棒!還有熱湯可以泡澡很讚~
From the outside, this hotel seems...old and concerning. But somehow, my expectations were upended entirely. I have no idea why, but this hotel has massive rooms compared to other Japanese hotels that offer two beds in one room. There was so much more space than I am used too. One pillow and a harder bed that felt new (my preference). The unit bath was much nicer and larger compared to the most common one you would see in an APA for example.
Then, we learned that there was a ROOFTOP BALCONY! Signage in multiple languages to show you which direction you are looking in, sunrise and sunset vantage points, it's lovely. In the basement, ONSEN. I will always take a public bath over a sad hotel shower. It's getting too hot for it but it was worth it.
Breakfast was buffet style with the usual fair I would expect from a Japanese hotel offering buffet breakfast: rice, soups, soupy eggs (I actually love these), potatoes, sausage, breakfast spaghetti.
I don't really have anything negative to say about the hotel or staff itself. The only bad thing we experienced was an insane amount of people checking in both nights we stayed with far more luggage than anyone should have clogging up the elevators. Of the 3 elevators, one only goes to the 7th floor, while the other two go all the way up. With this one man and his 17 suitcases, the wait to get back to our room was nuts. In the morning, we found out they were on our floor (9th) so we took the stairs.
That is not the hotels fault, it just seems to be a good option for tour groups.
Good location near train station.
Facility a bit too old.
