There’s nothing to like because we didn’t end up staying at The New Midi.

Cons:

The New MIDI hotel overbooked so we did not end up staying in New MIDI Hotel. They transferred us to the Ambassador Hotel across New Midi and ended up paying more! The Ambassador Hotel was a nice one too.

WiFi was patchy and basically didn’t work. No duvet on the bed, just a sheet. The duvet was in the cupboard. Bed was so so.

Great choice for a city trip for business or pleasure
Pros:

The New Midi is close, but not too close, to Geneva train station and only a few steps away from the lake. The hotel is colourfully decorated and has a positive vibe. My room was comfortable and well equipped.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about during the two nights of my stay.

Such arrogance is rare. It’s a shame for the hospitality industry in our own country!

During my planned stay, a march was scheduled to take place as part of the G7 protest in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel had not informed me in advance about the situation on the ground, and refused to give me any refund, even though I left immediately for safety reasons. Very unfriendly.
