room was good size and good big bathroom
advice-have shower earlier in a day as by late evening hot water gets cold
breakfast was excellent but dinner was awful
reception staff was excellent and very helpful

Agréable et très bien situé
Pros:

La situation géographique. Les menus aux dîners. Hôtel très propres et top d'avoir 2 piscines.
La mise à disposition de vélos.

Cons:

Petits déjeuners non variés. Pas de miroir hors salle de bain.
Un barman peu professionnel et pas souriant.
Parking trop cher alors qu'il était quasiment vide, nous aurions apprécié ce service gratuit.

Pros:

We've just spent 10 nights in this hotel. The breakfast food was far from fresh. The scrambled egg was burnt most days or soggy other days. Tinned fruit and pastries that tasted like they were left over from the previous day. The evening buffet was so bad that the amount of food left over on plates was shocking. There was no lunch available when we enquired even though we were told it was available, The pool was so cold it was empty thd whole time. Around the pool area there was ants everywhere. The room air conditioner was not set individually and it was so hot at night we were unable to sleep. We were advised to leave the window open,in which we done. The next morning both of us were covered in mosquito bites. The last day we were there ,we had no hot water at all. We did complain to management and we received a small discount off our bill. I would not recommend this hotel af all. It is not a 4 star hotel by no means.

„Grand Hotel“ steht für großes Hotel. Sauber und gepflegt ohne persönliche Note.
Pros:

Santa Maria al Bagno ist ein sehr schöner Ort. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Insgesamt ist es sauber.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist sehr groß und auf Gruppenreisen ausgerichtet. Das Ambiente ist modern aber auch unpersönlich (keine Bilder an den Wänden).
Die Zimmer sind eher dunkel (Tageslicht kommt nur durch die schmale Balkontür). Außenpool ist nicht beheizt (gefühlte 12 Grad Celsius). Der beheizte Pool ist ein Kinderbecken mit Algenbesatz).
Wenn man beim Frühstück spät dran ist, ist die Auswahl noch übersichtlicher als eh schon. Abendessen im Hotel ist ein „Schnelldurchlauf“ mit mittlerer Qualität.

Das Zimmer 26 mit direktem Blick auf den Hang und schlechtem Zuschnitt der Räumlichkeiten, für den Preis und der Hotel Kategorie eine Zumutung.

Die Sauberkeit. Die Aussicht.

Cons:

Eine Kaffeemaschine für ca. 40 Leute. Balkon ist sehr klein. Kein Nachtkästchen, nur ein Hocker. Der eElektroschalter und das Licht sind schwer zu erreichen.
