Just perfect!
Pros:

The place is peaceful and quiet. Staff are friendly and is willing to give an extra hand. Will be back here for sure!

Pros:

What a stay!

Enjoyed the beach at Terrazas, the multiple pools, the unit which had a jacuzzi and kitchenette and spacious rooms, the accommodating staff, the buffet breakfast at Peninsular, and that feeling of exclusivity!

Difficult without your own car, Peninsular is about 15 mins drive away; beach there is a bit rocky for my taste. Oh yeah, bring your own wifi.

Loved it here. Family was sad when we had to go.

Not as expected.
Pros:

Booked a unit for 4 adults and 2 kids (age 3 and 1). It was our first time at Punta Fuego and we were not familiar with the setup. We failed to do a really good research on the place and we weren't aware that the main clubhouse, Club Punta Fuego, was 30 minutes away from Amara Residences. This was a problem for us since our plan was just to be dropped off for check-in and picked up by the driver after we check out.

Pros:
1. The unit we got was a 2-bedroom unit and it was huge. We all enjoyed the ample space plus the kids had fun running around the unit.
2. The kitchenette was well-equipped. You can bring your own food to reheat or cook.
3. Loved the walk-in closet.
4. The staff were very accommodating. They allowed us to join the shuttle for their employees so we can go to the beach and to the restaurant.
5. Great views and the beach was clean.

Cons:
1. The beds were not as comfortable as expected.
2. No available shuttle from Amara Residences to Club Punta Fuego.
3. At Amara Residences, it's still not ideal if you don't have your own vehicle. You need a car to access the restaurant and the beach. The staff said that you can try to access it via foot, but, you need to have pretty strong legs since it's 96 steps down from the residences to the beach. (Another 96 steps to go back!)
4. We had free breakfast but if you're buying, just letting you know that food was expensive at Cafe Sol. P550 for one plated meal (no available buffet at Cafe Sol).
