Pros:

We just had coffee there and breakfast other places, it was good!

Cons:

When we called to ask for things from the front desk, it could’ve been faster, and iron they brought us was broken.

L'edifici és xulíssim, l'habitació meravellosa, còmode i neta. Els bars i restaurants de l'hotel t'ofereixen moltes possibilitats. Molt ben ubicat.

Fabulous location, large room, super clean with great food and friendly staff!
Pros:

Everything was better than expected - and we have high expectations. The room was 3 rooms in one - a room with king bed, a sitting room, and a room with a twin we used for our daughter. The shower was incredible - great pressure, plenty of hot water and amazing product line. We opted to include breakfast and it was fabulous. A full, beautiful buffet with an amazing menu too. And the location! Perfect for a long weekend in Barcelona. This is where we'll stay on every visit - and we'll recommend to friends and family. A top stay experience!

I wish we'd been able to stay longer!

We booked this room at short notice after checking out the rave reviews and weren’t disappointed - highly recommended.
Pros:

Lovely room and great onsite facilities such as a cafe and restaurant, roof terrace etc.

Cons:

At the higher end of my price range/budget - but worth it.

A great hotel!

Working in the hotel industry myself, I'm very picky ;-) However, Casa Bonay did live up to our expectations, and more. The atmosphere of the hotel was fantastic and we loved our room (suite for 3). We also found the breakfast to be exceptional and great that hot items were a la carte, to keep its freshness. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minus is that you have to pay extra for the "spa". Paying for a suite, I would expect this to be included.

not worth it
Pros:

Location was great, and the bar downstairs is super vibey

Cons:

Generally the hotel is great, however only if you are in a room with a view of the main street. The rest of the rooms are like fancy hostel vibe, dark and small and totally not worth the money. We switched rooms, very grateful to the personal for finding a slightly bigger room with two windows instead of the original room with one small window to the corridor they gave us. But nevertheless we wouldn’t come back or recommend the hotel to anyone. Also a honestly bar from the minibar was 8€, absolutely insane 😂 havent seen that anywhere.

It was fun, beachy but sort of “mid”
Pros:

It was great that we could open the window and have fresh air when we slept. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice. Massage by Danny was excellent

Cons:

The room was fine. There was very little storage space only two small drawers. No extra surfaces in the bathroom bedside tables were just a single table top no drawers. No closet. The tray of snacks got more storage area than we did. We only had housekeeping once during our weeklong stay, which was fine however, they did not restock the towels or toilet paper. The “circuit” at the spa was pretty disappointing- hot tub not hot and scheduling disorganized.

A beautiful place in the heart of Barcelona
Pros:

Excellent staff. very helpful and professional 🤗 From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. We truly enjoyed our stay and will happily recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone we know. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

Definitely the best place to stay in Barcelona.
Pros:

Our room was much better than expected. The hotel had an awesome bar, cafe and restaurant- definitely added a lot of value. The breakfast was great and the staff was so generous. I would stay here again for sure.
