Nice place to stay very clean hotel but beware of the construction going on. Especially if you book a room with a balcon

Property was nice. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean.

Cons:

That there was construction going on. I requested the two bedroom with a balcony with ocean view. Had I known our balcony was going to be right next to the construction that was going on literally facing it outside of our balcony I would’ve asked for a different room. We should’ve been told that there was construction going on. There were so much noises you cannot even sit outside and enjoy the view. Very disappointing. I don’t know if it was Booking.com‘s fault for not putting it online with booking the appointment or if it was best western‘s fault but somebody needs to put somewhere on both apps that there is construction going on that was a dealbreaker for us. It’s supposed to be a high-rise going up so after it is finished, there will not be an ocean view once it’s finished. The property they’re building. Next door is not part of best Western but they should still let you know that there is construction going on next-door put the looks of it too. They just started it.

No early check in
Pros:

It had a heated pool and bar(which wasn't open) because the weather was so cold. Room was clean and comfortable

Cons:

We got off of a cruise in new orleans and drove to Orange beach. We asked to check in early but we're told no. The hotel was mostly empty. The lady said if a room came up she would call. We came back at 3:15 and finally got a room. If you are traveling and need a room early, not this hotel.
