No early check in
Pros:

It had a heated pool and bar(which wasn't open) because the weather was so cold. Room was clean and comfortable

Cons:

We got off of a cruise in new orleans and drove to Orange beach. We asked to check in early but we're told no. The hotel was mostly empty. The lady said if a room came up she would call. We came back at 3:15 and finally got a room. If you are traveling and need a room early, not this hotel.

Be prepared to pay extra to park your on car , no valet.

It was clean and felt safe

Cons:

You have to pay to park , I was not told about this prior to booking . The parking deck goes to the third floor . The check in desk is on the 4th floor. You have to wait for an elevator together to your room and to check in . The tub did not drain properly so while you shower the water covers your feet . The shampoo provided in the shower smells like vomit . The beds are hard with little give. Pool is cold and uninviting

We booked a last-minute, spur-of-the-moment trip and ended up loving every minute of our stay at Best Western The Tides. When I made the reservation, I didn’t even realize the room included bunk beds, which was such a fun and pleasant surprise.
The room was exceptionally clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations, and it turned a spontaneous getaway into a really memorable one. We would definitely stay here again!
