Fantastisk beliggenhed

Cons:

Fik værelse nr 1 i stueetagen som var et handicapvenligt værelse. Stort men meget meget mørkt med vindue ud til skakt bag huset

Good clean central location
Pros:

Very central location, could walk everywhere literally . Staff very nice and lovely welcome drink and Portuguese pastry

Cons:

perhaps a coffee machine in room or better instant coffee for room would have been nice as well are not tea drinkers

The welcome was very warm and you could see the efforts the hotel makes to personalise the experience.

While the hotel lobby was very nice, the room seemed to lack personality and seemed quite basic for the price.

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit Charme
Pros:

Sehr schönes, altes Haus! Freundlicher Empfang, schönes, behagliches Zimmer und bequeme Betten. Wir hatten ein gemeinsames Abendessen mit anderen Gästen an einem langen Tisch - und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend!

Cons:

Es war schade, dass der Pool nicht benutzbar war.

Tolles Hotel für Städtereise, da die Ribeira und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar sind👍
Pros:

Rein äußerlich ist das Hotel sehr unscheinbar, auch drinnen hat es ein bisschen Bahnhof-Atmosphäre, liegt aber an den baulichen Gegebenheiten. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit! Das Frühstück war lecker mit allem, was zu einem guten Frühstück gehört, allerdings würden Wurstfans nicht ganz auf ihre Kosten kommen. Dafür war alles andere sehr frisch und reichlich. Unser Zimmer lag zur Hauptstraße, das heißt viel Verkehr und Sirenen. Bei geschlossenem Fenster aber okay. Wir waren tagsüber immer unterwegs und nachts hat uns nichts wirklich gestört. Der Sanitärbereich war total toll integriert und alles war super sauber!! Schön war auch die tägliche Flasche Wasser! Dankeschön!

The location is impeccable!!! It’s easy to pop in to different shops and sites and come back for a nap. The hotel is tastefully designed. Attention to detail. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Would stay again. Definitely a fave.
Pros:

Near waterfront, restaurants, boating, and music. We had a wonderful balcony that overlooked the water in the city. Although we only used it on our last day there is breakfast at the hotel. They will make fresh omelettes for you and there is a nice assortment of foods.
