Friendly staff. Breakfast was good

The location is the only thing good about this facility. It's walkable to anything that's downtown-ish and close to the campus.

Nice hotel very clean

Great location. Liked having a kitchen - had the necessities to make meals. Would be nice to have a small bottle of oil. Staff were friendly and nice.

The Residence Inn Charlottesville Downtown is a very nice Residence Inn. The lobby is clean with a lovely sitting area and gas fireplace. Although we didn't have a friendly check-in (Heather was rather abrasive, unwelcoming, didn't smile even once, or thank us for being Titanium members.), we did have a friendly check out with Courtney. Courtney smiled, asked us if we had a nice stay, and wished us Happy Holidays. I didn't downgrade our rating due to Heather, but, as a supervisor myself, I highly recommend she receive some remedial training or find another job that would be more pleasing to her.

As Titanium members, we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite, which was greatly appreciated since we were traveling with our adult son. The suite was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Both our beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a Residence Inn. It included the usual items like cereal, eggs, sausage, waffle makings, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, oatmeal, etc, but what really impressed me was the oat milk and egg toppings (hot sauces, shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream) they offered. I especially appreciated the oatmilk for my herbal tea and salsa for my eggs.

The hotel is off Main St. We didn't here any traffic noise, but once at night and once in the morning we heard emergency vehicle sirens. Fortunately, it wasn't during our sleep hours.

I would definitely recommend the Residence Inn Charlottesville Downtown.

I have stayed at dozens of Residence Inns across the U.S. and Canada. This hotel is certainly the best and highly recommended. From the location, to the rooms, the breakfast, abundant parking, courteous service, and cleanliness, this location is unmatched. The suites are modern, spacious and the bathrooms are a decent size. I spent two nights here and had great sleep on both nights. The staff at breakfast work incredibly hard to make sure everyone is served and the service is great. What's even better, they have a number of gluten-free options which are listed and displayed in the buffet area. These items are available upon request and are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Perfect place to relax!

Everyone was very friendly, parking wasn't a problem and they accommodated all our requests.

This is a great Residence Inn, a very easy walk to the place in downtown Charlottesville. The studio room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was great, the business center was easy to use, and breakfast was solid. The only issue I had is that the listing on Expedia says the room has a tub shower combo, but it was only a shower in the room I had.

I stay here often and have yet to be disappointed. Covered parking is a paid option, but well worth it for the convenience. A separate elevator goes right from the lobby to the garage. Just make sure you check in first and get your room key and parking pass, otherwise you won't be able to use that elevator.

Well equipped room with full scale kitchen except smaller appliances. Great room! We will stay at Residence Inn again.

There’s no restaurant or bar in this hotel walking distance to downtown if you’re staying here the Omni is a better choice.
The gym was very dirty and no water or towel in the gym first thing in the morning. This hotel is poorly managed

We love this hotel for visitng our daughter at UVA, been staying here for four years. It is clean, convenient and the breakfast is terrific. Staff is welcoming and helpful.
