Our view was of the AC roof unit room 219…couldn’t look out the window!

We arrived at Residence Inn Malvern around midnight--I had informed the facility that we would arrive late. Upon arrival we were told that there was no room, and that the Malvern facility had booked us in the Residence Inn King of Prussia. So we had to drive there. I had received no email or text that this would happen. If I had, I would have driven directly to King of Prussia.
It took some time for the transaction between Malvern and King of Prussia to get worked out--we were really tired at this point. We had not received any notification that this would happen.
Neither did anyone inform us that the arrangement for us to stay in King of Prussia was only for one night! Luckily, we were out all day, and King of Prussia did not have my phone number and could not contact me. They were kind enough to book us in for the second night--though that did create problems for them.
I expect a refund from the Malvern facility for the second night--since I had to pay King of Prussia for the second night.
Needless to say, this was all quite disappointing. I had never expected such failures of service from Marriott. It will definitely make me think twice about using any Marriott facility again. Could you please see that we are refunded the cost of the second night at Malvern? Thank you.
Very impressed with this hotel. Doesn’t feel like just a big box with a bunch of rooms. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast.

Room was dirty, shower curtain was moldy, and sofa bed was broken.

The property had a great location for a family road trip across PA and was dog friendly which we needed. Sherry at check-in was exceptional - especially for a holiday weekend. Would definitely recommend for a family with kids and pets.
