Pros:

Very central. Excellent value. Lounge plus bedroom. Very pleasant staff.

Great location. Wireless connectivity in two rooms essentially useless. Infrastructure needs updating with urgency.
Pros:

Location is excellent. Staff nice and helpful. The staff were very helpful in trying to solve Internet connectivity problems. They even gave us a chance to test the high-speed version, which was available for a fee. When we determined that the high-speed version did not solve connectivity problems, the extra charge was dropped. We commend the staff for trying their best to help us.

Cons:

The interior has not been renovated for at least 20 years if not more. It shows. The worst problem is that the wireless infrastructure is very poor. We were in two different rooms. In one, the phone wireless signal was perfect in the hallway, but got lost as soon as the door was closed and you moved away from the door. The extremely poor signal made it useless (proof easy to document running a speed test, which we did multiple times in both rooms, and the farther you got from the hallway, the worst it got). The second room was a bit better, with signal reaching the desk that was the closest part of the room to the hallway, but in the bedroom by the night table, there was no signal any longer.

Pros:

Nous avons séjourné a maintes reprises dans votre établissement et nous aimons toujours la proximité des restos, théâtre, les plaines etc.

Cons:

Nous n'avons pas apprécié que l'on nous loge au 10ième étage sachant très bien qu'il y avait un problème de bruit constant de moteur d'air climatisé provenant du toit. Ce vacarme continuel était extrêmement dérangeant pour le sommeil. Nous en avons averti le personnel, mais tout ce que l'on nous a proposé était de changer de chambre le lendemain, mais qu'il fallait attendre de nombreuses heures, afin d'en obtenir une autre.

We wish we could have had a longer stay at Palace Royal!
Pros:

Our room was exactly as the picture advertised. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa. The location was great! The food from the Bistro and the restaurant was delicious. Staff was more than willing to assist when needed.
