Good hotel. Excellent location for the Carnival and to walk to restaurants and sights.
Pros:

Lovely big room overlooking the city. Close to sights and restaurants.

Cons:

No access to entertainment as we didn’t have a balcony overlooking the pool area.

The location was ideal. Short walks away from great restaurants and cafes. Short walks to Paliament building, Heights of Abraham Park and Chateau Fontenac.

Cons:

Safe under sink in kitchen area - easy to miss checking it on checkout.

Disappointed
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

Moments before checking in I received a phone call stating we would be receiving a free room upgrade; when we arrived to our room it was the exact room I had booked (no upgrade) except the bedroom area was very tiny and we were given the room located immediately above the porte-corchere which meant the floors and the room were freezing - I would argue we received a downgrade. We had our 8 month old daughter with us so because the floors were so cold, she wasn't able to play on the floor. Further to this, the bath tub stopper did not work so we had to bathe our daughter in a family members' room (thankfully we had extended family on our trip so this was an option). Additionally, we had rented a crib from the hotel for our daughter and I am sure it does not meet all of the safety inspections; the mattress was flimsy and soft, and the whole crib creaked and rattled. Finally, although the room service menu in our room stated room service was available from noon until 9 or 10pm (depending on the day), when we called each day at noon we were told the restaurant was closed.
