Great location for a cheap price- room nice and clean

This is a bright orange hotel building a few doors down from the mosque, so you can't miss it!

The rooms are very spacious and had a good sized bathroom as well as a balcony looking out into the main road.

It is less than a 10 minute walk down to Ao Nang beach, so a very good location.

The 2 negative points about the hotel for me were the staff and noise fun the street. The main people who manned the counter were just not that friendly and was really hard to get any information out of.
Also, I had a room that overlooked the main road, so had the constant road traffic and loud music at all hours.

I came in peak season and the usual places were sold out.

No good value for the money. I booked and paid two beds but got only one bed. I'm traveling with my male friend and I'm man myself. My friend had to sleep on the floor because hotel didn't change our room. Shower had only cold water, no hot water at all.

Such a perfect spot for us. A little food bazaar right across the street. Super affordable for how large the rooms are. Cute city view. Check in was a breeze and they allowed late checkout which was needed for us. Traveling with a cat and there are not many pet friendly so we appreciated that. Nice hot shower. Can easily walk down to beach and sight see

One of the best budget hotels I've been to. Nice, clean rooms. It's several minute walk to the beach with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops on the way. I recommend it.

Had 3 nights in Jan 2015 here, and now on my 2nd visit to Ao nang, stayed here again, had 2 nights in Jan 2019, before heading out to the islands for 2 weeks.

The hotel, rooms & staff are great. My 1st visit, I had a quiet room at the back, this time I had a room overlooking the main street. Much much noisier at the front, especially the motorbikes speeding up & down the road until very late at night. I wondered why the room was cheaper than my previous stay :)

Room is very clean and spacious. They provide basic breakfast comprising of Toast, conflakes, watermelon, & Tea/Coffee. They also provide complimentary beach mats and umbrella. only drawback is it is little far(1 km) from Aonang beach. So whenever you go out to beach or to shopping areas every time you have to walk for another 1 km in scorching heat to reach back.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are delightful, welcoming and helpful. Our room was large with a balcony overlooking the quieter back area, with good a/c and all amenities. However, the mosque is still three doors away with its superb sound system. An addition since our last stay is a neighbouring dog, which howls along to the dawn call from the mosque. The whole hotel is tiled so sounds are magnified and echo. Thus inconsiderate late arriving guests are clearly heard talking loudly, banging doors and stamping feet. What a shame. None of these things are the fault of the hotel.

The problem is that there is a mosque nearby and it will wake you up every 5am -_-

This is the fourth time I have stayed at this small family run hotel and quite frankly I would not stay anywhere else in Ao Nang. The location is perfect , the prices are very good and staff are superb. I really cannot praise this business enough.

Location - At the top of the hill on the main road leading to the beach.

Appearance - Like most Thai hotels, the appearance could benefit from a repaint job here and there but its certainly not a run down shabby hotel, and has recently added some new rooms.

Service - Absolutely awesome, the staff really go out of their way to make sure guests have a great time, and I would like highlight Por, Mek and Thaiboon as great ambassadors for the hotel and the most helpful people I have ever met. All speak perfect English. The hotel will book trips for you, arrange transfers to the airport, sort out your laundry and it provides free books in many languages, they will loan you, beach mats, snorkels, flippers and umbrellas all for free. An iron and ironing board are available to sue in the reception area.

Breakfast - This is an optional offer for 150 Bhat PP, probably the cheapest breakfast in Ao Nang, and for this you will get eggs bacon, sausage, beans, toast and tea/ coffee all made to order. Or guests are permitted to help themselves to a free cold breakfast of cereals, fruits, tea/coffee and toast which suited us just fine.

Rooms- The rooms are huge, as is the bed, and it was very comfortable. All rooms have a good sized TV, free safe, free air con, free water, and tea/coffee and a kettle. The rooms all have a fridge and are kept spotlessly clean by our cleaner Bee. The TV did only have limited channels in English but then again we did not go on holiday to watch TV.

Bathrooms - A good size with a hot and powerful shower over the bath tub. Shower gel and Shampoo are provided in dispensers, along with shower caps, cotton buds and a hairdryer.

Beach- a 10 minute walk down the hill.

Wifi - Good and strong throughout the hotel.

No hotel is 100% perfect and its true of this one. If you walk 10 mins in the other direction away from the beach, you will come across a mosque which itself is photogenic particularly at night, however one may hear the call the to prayer at 5.30 am, and to be fair whilst it did wake me on the first morning, I slept through it after that for the rest of my 14 day stay so it was not that bad and only lasts for about 2 minutes, but if you are a light sleeper it may be an issue.
The other minor issue is that the hotel does not have a lift and if you are on the top floor it can be tiring specially if you have a walking problem, so if necessary ask for a lower floor room.

Would I stay here again, definitely yes, its the only place I would consider, it has the four key ingredients for me, Excellent service, great location, an excellent family run feel to the business and awesome value for money.
