Pathetic hotel, felt racism there, worst food

Only good thing was just a cafe which was on the ground floor.

Cons:

That was my first trip to Almaty, and I chose to book a hotel for my last 2 days just to experience hotel stays in Almaty, which was a bad decision.

I'll go step by step.

Firstly, the building looked like there was some construction going on. The facade was not in good condition. Secondly, I booked a king suite more than a month ago, and I mentioned clearly that it should be on a higher floor with a mountain view. When I arrived, they told me that no room was available; the only room they had was on the 3rd floor. Then I told them that there are 11 floors in their hotel, and how was it possible that no room was available and that they were fully occupied 1-2 months ago?

Then I was told that there was another room on the 5th floor; suddenly, one room appeared. I agreed to that room, and when we entered, it had no view. Can you imagine? You are booking the most expensive room listed, and you have to fight for the room you paid for. Then I went back to reception and said that it was just a simple room. Then another room appeared, and they gave me another room on the same floor. As a customer or guest, what would you think?
Then we checked in and went to explore the neighborhood. Later that day, we told reception that we would be going on our morning trek to Big Almaty Lake, so was it possible to get some food packed as we wouldn't be able to have breakfast, which was included in our package? The lady told us okay. The next day, we got boxes, and during our activity, when we opened the box, there were 2-3 slices of cucumber, carrot, and capsicum. Can you imagine? Is this what I paid for? I came back to the hotel at just 11:10, and breakfast closes at 11:00. They just refused to give us breakfast.

We told everything to reception, but there was a very cold response; neither did the manager show up. We left the breakfast food at the reception.

Исключительно только вид из окна и мягкая постель

Cons:

Грязно очень. Запах канализации в люкс номере. Ужасное состояние душевых кабин. Унитазов. Очень очень грязно.
Завтраки проходят в грязном месте. Напротив ресторана стоят грязные мешки с картошкой. Отвратительное место.

Номер просторный, два санузла, кровать по запросу была готова

Cons:

При бронировании не сказали что бассейн не работает, а это было важно для нас, пришлось съехать переночев , в целом все устаревшее
