Hyde Park Boutique Hotel

On arrival I asked if there was a bathroom or changing facility, which I was told yet but there was a £5 charge.
I paid this and was shown to a room which can only be described as a storage room with a small ensuite in it. There were spare mattress's, chairs, chest freezers, other peoples belonging etc etc in it. A staff member also walked in on myself and my 2 adult daughters while we were getting organised.
The member of staff on reception was not very friendly and we did not feel comfortable. We spent the next few hours finding alternative accommodation. We did not even go to the room just collected out bags and left the hotel. This experience was very uncomfortable. We did not feel safe in this hotel.
I had read alot of the reviews on here and thought that maybe it wasnt that bad, I have since read even more and some about male staff entering room.

The pillows were too flat. The hotel needs to upgrade the pillows.

The amount of stairs to top floor 91 and the very narrow stairs at the top also the stains in the ceiling directly above the bed

Entgegen der Buchungsbestätigung hatte das Zimmer 11 qm statt der angegeben 20 qm. Es entsprach nicht den Fotos, die bei Booking.com eingestellt waren. Um ins Zimmer zu gelangen, musste man 80 steile Stufen überwinden, die zum Teil auch noch um die Kurve gingen. Für ältere Personen absolut ungeeignet. Die Bitte um ein upgrade unter Hinweis auf Gehbehinderung und Herzbeschwerden wurden lapidar damit abgetan, dass London voll sei!
Im übrigen bei 38 Grad keine Klimaanlage und der Balkon nicht begehbar!

Det var tre senger på rommet. Lite gulvplass igjen.
Og "kontor-pulten" var mikroskopisk. Det gikk an å jobbe der med en laptop etter å flyttet alt utstyret som var plassert der.

Quarto extremamente pequeno e cama ruim
Banheiro sem ventilação, nem janela nem exaustor.

Kunne hatt noen bord og stoler ute, stedet kunne hatt det litt mer personlig og hyggeligere interiør, som gjenspeilet navnet Boutique.

Tutto, non esiste un ascensore ma solo scale che più si sale e più diventano pericolose, la stanza in cui ho soggiornato era minuscola e puzzava di muffa. Moquette ovunque, sporco e per niente arieggiato. Non tornerò mai più.

Room was very small. No air conditioning just a small noisy fan and when asked for an extra fan in 34 degrees heat we were told no. Bed frame was old, very poor quality and noisy. No lift and very narrow, steep, winding stairs up to 3rd and 4th floor so would not be suitable to anybody with big suitcases or mobility issues. Television Extremely small and far away from bed. Shower tray was extremely slippy with no mat to counteract this. When a clean was requested for the room the bed sheets were just made and not changed and the toilet roll was not refilled so had to ring and ask for more. Towels were also very small. Wi-fi didn’t work on 4th floor. When we arrived, they requested a £50 deposit. This is fine as long as it is outlined when booking but it was not. Listed as boutique hotel but absolutely nothing boutique about it. would expect an awful lot better for €500 for 2 nights not in central london. Would not stay again.
