A quirky place with lots of character, amazing staff
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing - did feel sorry for the guy at breakfast he was alone and had to do everything

Cons:

The bed for me sadly was way too hard so I didn’t get much sleep. Trying to fill the kettle was a nightmare too big for the tiny little sink so I got soaked and so did the floor.. naturally I mopped it all up .. ended up having to use the shower to fill the kettle

Pros:

Het ontbijt wat echt prima, volledig en keurig, duurde wel even voor het werd geserveerd.
Het restaurant is van indiaanse aard, welke echt heerlijk is, wees wel allert op de groene paprika's achter het menu, dat geeft de scherpte aan.

Cons:

De badkamer had weliswaar warm water, maar douchen gaat niet. geen water druk, bad is te klein om een goed bad te nemen, en overall kan het een prima hotel worden maar dan moet men wel even flink renoveren en zeker de schilder er goed door laten gaan. het ziet er wat smoezig en net niet schoon uit op de overloop en trap.
ik ga er niet weer naar toe al kom ik met regelmaat in deze omgeving.

Nice hotel and stay but a few little issues
Pros:

Clean room and comfy bed, with good facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bar had a good selection of drinks and the food was lovely in the restaurant

Cons:

There was a strange noise every 30 mins in the room I stayed in, this happened all day and night and it woke me during the night multiple times. The TV standby light also randomly started flickering at 3am on both nights I stayed.
There wats a fair few dodgy floorboards throughout the hotel, they felt broken so when you'd walk across them you'd stumble.
The music in the bar was really loud and there weren't enough quieter areas where you could have a conversation.
When having dinner in the restaurant our drinks order was taken but the drinks hadn't arrived by the time our food has got to us, this led to my partner going to the bar and getting a drink instead and the drinks we ordered never showed up but were added on to our bill (although did get deducted when we questioned it)

Decent and excellent bar staff.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable, the bar was good and there were shops and take-aways near by. The bar staff were excellent and the football was on the telly.

I could not get my shower to work, but I had a bath.

It was warm, friendly;had a busy atmosphere. The staff couldn’t do enough to help you. There were a variety of seating and eating places. The food, particularly the Indian cuisine was outstanding.

Cons:

Only a slight criticism - the property is on a busy road and there was disturbance from early morning traffic - but that did spoil our stay.

Pros:

The location was excellent. The bar area was buzzing, locals seem to love it. The staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The room wasn’t made up in the morning. They changed the duvet cover because I spilt coffee on it and asked them to but that was it. The place is very tired looking. Needs new carpets and a coat of paint. It smells. Distinct smell of fags in one corridor and food smells in the other.
