Location was great, staff very friendly and helpful, food was delicious.
Some areas had cobwebs, in the pub area many webs with flies.
Space in unit. Comfortable furniture
Kitchen was not well equipped for self catering.
Quiet and spacious accommodation in a great locarion
Staff were excellent and quickly resolved an issue we had with the fridge which wasn't working on arrival.
Location was perfect, close to all the stuff we wanted to do in Aviemore. Nothing was more than a 10 minute drive away.
Hotel vibe was very quiet which is just how we like it, very peaceful and relaxing.
Rooms are a little dated but who cares when you're on holiday? We had everything we needed and it was clean.
Nothing
Comforable beds and sofas, lots of space.
Brilliant location, swimming pool is fab and the chalet is perfect for our family of 4.
Self catering chalet could be modernised a little. Beds are small and dated. Kitchen utensils are limited but adequate.
The location was too, away from the hustle and bustle of Aviemore centre. Near the river which was also nice.
Our first room was filthy, mouldy dishwasher, hairs on the bed and smelt like an old folks home. We then got moved due to this and our second room was cleaner. Travel cot came with the wrong sized mattress insert (which by the sounds of it happens all the time) considering the time of check in and porters finishing at 7 it doesn't leave a lot of time to rectify. The high chair was again filthy.
Great location, lovely view and lodge was spacious.
However, the lodge itself was a bit tired and could do with some serious upgrading. The shower in one bedroom didn'tdrain properly and the heat control on the other shower was faulty. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and despite asking twice before booking no bedding for the sofa bed was provided. I had to collect it from the bar staff as the reception was closed.
Beautiful location and very good facilities
Some of the kitchen equipment ie pots and pans were a bit old and not too clean
We loved the cabin - so quiet & peaceful, and plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped & useful items provided eg kitchen roll, washing liquid.
Nothing to complain about.
Out dated and tired decor and furniture
