Location, peaceful, we had everything we needed
Properties need updating. They feel very 1980s but were clean & comfortable and we had everything we needed & enjoyed our stay.
Location
The room had a slight smell..
Spacious, clean apartment, peaceful views and great location in Aviemore.
The leisure facilities are tired and the new charging policy for using anything other than the swimming pool or the gym feels excessive. £12 to borrow tennis racquets or £8 for table tennis. Despite the website (apparently out of date according to the reception) saying all leisure facilities are complimentary for all guests. Fine if it was state of the art facilities but they are very tired and understandably underused now. Pool closed all day one day because of a chlorine problem but no one told us we could use the pool at the Aviemore hotel because of this. We were just told the resort pool was closed when we turned up to use it.
Great location, excellent facilities. Warm house after spending the all-day outdoor, it's what we were looking for. Area very quiet, lots of bird watching from our window. Swimming pool warm and cleaned. Staff accomodating
The sofa bed we slept in could do with an upgrading, but beds very comfy
Great location right on the golf course and close to the River Spey
Was a bit dated and had a bit of a smell of smoke on arrival!
These cabins are fab for short stays. Very warm, golf.on the doorstep, easy access to the town, great facilities.
Nothing
Price seemed reasonable, staff were friendly, facilities seemed good although we didn't use any of the sports facilitues. Pub quiz was fun
Dated decor (need a lick of paint), spongy mattresses, dirty/ worn around handles of bath and overflow, just needs a bit of tlc
Perfect location, very close to hotel facilities
Jacuzzi wasn’t working for 2 out of the 3 days we were there
Mouse droppings were in the cupboard in the room
Twice people came in to take metre reading while we were in the lodge during our short stay
On check in they highlighted all sports facilities and said free to use but failed to mention the hire charge (£6.40) was only small but very miseleading
Sports hall was freezing and the pingpong ball we got was so wonky couldn’t play properly
Aviemore is just a brilliant place to step away from screens and the day to day and enjoy the outdoors, good food and family fun. The male reception staff member was a credit to the company
We have stayed here a number of times over the years but it was our first time in a chalet for 8 years, they were run down and dirty, badly need investment. Female receptionist was rude and abrupt. Cleanliness was terrible
Swimming pool .nice location
Thought there could have been more things to do with the kids
Brilliant last minute trip away to get some skiing in.
Only real issue was that the shower temp gauge didn’t work so we couldn’t turn it up beyond 20 degrees.
Swimming pool, accommodation and location.
Nothing
A lovely stay very peaceful and very nice staff would stay again
Good location. Free use of swimming pool, gym etc.
Chalet 20 very dated and not well kept. Very cold even with all heaters on as the window seals were all knackered, one window nearly fell out when we tried to pull in tighter shut. Carpets needed cleaning and things needed fixing. Not what we expected for the money we paid. Check in was only between 5-6pm. Used swimming pool once and so much chlorine we all ended up with a skin rash. Overall not what we expected for the amount it cost. Not usually one to complain as usually only in chalet to sleep and out and about rest of time but we were disappointed.
