Pros:

My partner and I had just got married and the staff left a lovely note for us and a bottle of Prosecco - it made us feel very cared for. We stayed in the Topsider and it was amazingly quiet with great views and generously spaced. The resort itself is only a short cycle from the train station and conveniently located for adventures around Aviemore

Pros:

Location, the property had everything we needed for self catering . The beds were comfortable and several different kinds of pillows to suit our needs. Very clean and comfortable furniture in the lounge etc the swimming pool was good also.

Perfect for a short break even if you don’t like golf!
Pros:

Quiet, isolated, peaceful. Yet bear enough to the town that I could get things without problems

Great base for a self catering stay but leisure facilities could be more welcoming.
Pros:

Spacious, clean apartment, peaceful views and great location in Aviemore.

Cons:

The leisure facilities are tired and the new charging policy for using anything other than the swimming pool or the gym feels excessive. £12 to borrow tennis racquets or £8 for table tennis. Despite the website (apparently out of date according to the reception) saying all leisure facilities are complimentary for all guests. Fine if it was state of the art facilities but they are very tired and understandably underused now. Pool closed all day one day because of a chlorine problem but no one told us we could use the pool at the Aviemore hotel because of this. We were just told the resort pool was closed when we turned up to use it.

Great family outdoor vacation
Pros:

Great location, excellent facilities. Warm house after spending the all-day outdoor, it's what we were looking for. Area very quiet, lots of bird watching from our window. Swimming pool warm and cleaned. Staff accomodating

Cons:

The sofa bed we slept in could do with an upgrading, but beds very comfy
