Nice easy location. Big clean room. Buffet breakfast. Car park
Nothing to dislike
Beds were comfortable, lovely snacks and drinks. Food in restaurant good. Big rooms, lovely bathroom. Rooms very clean
Unable to close bathroom window and door into the bathroom would not stay closed. You could lock it when in the bathroom but could not keep it closed when in the bedroom and all I could hear was shower dripping and the cord from the bathroom window tapping. Put a bag in front of the door which stopped noise.
The receptionist was so helpful when I made a mistake with the booking. She sorted it all out for me.
We would have liked a wardrobe but the room and bathroom were nice. We have stayed here a few times and it's is great. Love the location.
Located near to family living in Felixstowe. Staff wonderful as always. Accommodation excellent. Will return as soon as commitments allow.
I booked a suite and it was really lovely, with an old roll top bath
Food had to paid for straightaway rather than being charged to the room
Improved decor to rooms. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Attitude of staff.

Had a family room..
Plenty of space, well set out, really comfortable bed & overall a lovely lovely space.
The fridge needs to be changed sooooooo noisy.!
Very concerning experience during our stay.
My daughter and I checked into Room 105 at around 14:00. At approximately 16:35 two other guests were able to open the door and enter our room using their key card while we were inside.
It was extremely alarming, especially as I was staying with my young child. A hotel room should be a private and secure space, so this raised serious concerns about how room access is being managed.
Incidents like this should simply not be possible in a functioning hotel security system, and I hope the hotel investigates how this occurred and ensures it cannot happen again.
Staff friendly and polite. Room large and so was the bathroom. Right opposite the train station and a short walk to the sea and theatre. Already booked to stay again for a show at the spa pavilion theatre.
The hotel is very grand.....
all was fine...
