comfortable hotel in a lovely little town
Pros:

the Japanese breakfast was very good, we enjoyed it, but if we had stayed longer a little more choice would have been nice, e.g. some Western-style options
the room was very spacious and we liked the outside bathroom.
the beds were comfortable, but a little too close together, one was not able to walk in between or at the side of the bed, when trying to get up
we loved watching and feeding the fish at the front of the hotel

a little more space in between the beds or at the side of the beds would be helpful, to be able to get up

まあまあ良かったです。
Pros:

夕食に地元の食材のアユなどが入るともっと良いです。値段は上がっても良いですけどね。
朝食のごはん食べ比べは楽しかったです。

Uitstekend hotel voor kort verblijf
Pros:

Het hotel is goed gelegen in het dorpje, met verschillende restaurants op loopafstand. De onsen is heel prettig. Ontbijt is uitstekend!

Cons:

Onze kamer was wat krap voor als je langer dan één nachtje blijft of als onderdeel van een langere vakantie.

Wir waren zufrieden.
Pros:

Frühstück und Nachtessen waren höchste Qualitaet und das Onsen ist klein aber sauber. Nur das niedrige Tisch mit tiefe Sitzen war unbequem.statt japanische sitzen am Boden, lieber einen Sofa.

Best stay on my trip
Pros:

I have no complaints about the property. It was the best ryokan I’ve stayed in so far on my trip in Japan, and at not a very expensive cost. Close enough to the train station. The Japanese breakfast was good. Good sushi restaurant across the street for dinner. Complementary coffee, tea, shochu, and whiskey were a nice touch. Best part was the helpfulness of the staff.

Cons:

If I had to complain about something, it would be that the onsen wasn’t very hot.
