Old-fashioned facility with good, old-fashioned service.
Pros:

Front desk and manager were very helpful with paperwork we needed for the Gibraltar authorities, also holding our luggage until our room was ready (early). The hotel very much reminds me of Britain in the '70s, which I toured as a child. Dark paneling, dark furnishings, long twisting corridors, so it was nostalgic for me.

My request for an interior room far away from the central part of the hotel and other guests was perfectly respected and I was pleased to end up at the very end of a long corridor behind an extra door. Very quiet.

Cons:

Gibraltar is expensive, there's no getting around it, but this is one of the lower cost options. Coming here, one would do best to not expect something modern

Brits en ouderwets, wel lekker in het centrum en aardig personeel.
Pros:

Old fashioned hotel direct in het centrum van Gibraltar. Het is allemaal wat sleets en ouderwets. Parkeren kon direct voor de deur.

Cons:

Het is allemaal wat sleets en ouderwets. Enkele lampen in de kamer waren defect.

Great budget stay
Pros:

Location was pretty good, stuff friendly. There was a pool which would be good to use if the weather was warmer. Right next to the hotel in a square there are taxi tours for the Natural Reserve Park. Many restaurants and stores are in a street just a minute from the hotel.

Cons:

The building and furniture are pretty old, very hard mattresses.

Very old fashioned but good location
Pros:

Location was good and staff helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The rooms are incredibly dated, the bathrooms also. The bed was terrible and creaked all night with even the slightest movement, also the pillows were awful. I don't think they have done any upgrades to this hotel since it was built in the 80's!
