Erste Reise nach Nairobi - Gleich das richtige Zimmer gebucht und bekommen!
Pros:

Die Lage ist top. Nicht weit weg von den Einkaufszentren Westgate Mall und Sarit Centre. Vom Hotel aus, habe ich immer einen Sparziehgang zu den Einkaufszentren gemacht.


Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit (z.B. Uber bestellen, Teller oder Besteck aus Zimmer bringen, Fragen beantworten).

Mosquito habe ich kaum wahrgenommen. Wurde ein einziges Mal gestochen.

Hatte ein Zimmer auf der 4.Etage mit Blick aufs Parking (sehr schöne Aussicht !!!).
Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und alles war sehr sauber.

Nur Besteck fehlt. Habe mir am 2.Tag einen scharfen Messer im Mall gekauft. Teller und normales Besteck bekam ich auf Anfrage ohne Probleme.

Am letzten Tag durfte ich meine Gepäckstücke da lassen und später abholen. Klappte sehr gut!

Cons:

Bin in einem anderen Hotel nach 5 Tagen hier umgezogen und habe es gleich beim Check In bereut (obwohl das andere Hotel teuer und näher am Westgate Mall ist).

Das Hotel hier empfehle ich auf jeden Fall.
Müsste man nur beim Frühstück ggf. nicht so streng sein.
Eventuell stört einem auch der Lärm vom Kühlschrank und Ventilator. Dann halt ausgeschaltet lassen!

Great stay. Would visit again if in Nairobi
Pros:

Comfortable big beds (and pillows). Clean and spacious room. Lovely staff. Great location.

Cons:

No AC? The room had a ceiling fan. It wasn’t so hot in the rooms because I think there is AC in the lobby and corridors. Not sure how it would be in the even hotter months but it wasn’t an issue while we were there.

Pros:

The reception staff and outside security were very friendly. The rooms were super clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was handy to have a fridge and microwave in the kitchen.

Cons:

We had a room on the 4th floor and heard the kitchen activities in the morning and evening, that was not nice. And also the placing of plates and cutlery were audible from the room as all floors are connected by an indoor courtyard. The staff at breakfast looked rather bored and unhappy.

Pros:

Personal sehr professionell, verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel war allzeit sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Cons:

Keine Grünanlagen zum chillen, sehr eng platziert. Aber innen sind viele Blumen zum bewundern.

An all-around fantastic place to stay at in Nairobi!
Pros:

I love how hospitable, accommodating and kind the staff at Lotos are. The breakfast was decent, with a variety of foods to choose from, and the room was clean with all the basic amenities provided for. Special thanks to the entire team, especially Brian and Mercy!
