Pros:
• Excellent Value: We booked this hotel for a short spring break at a very good price, and it exceeded our expectations for the cost.
• Location: Located in a quiet area away from the main beachfront noise. It's incredibly convenient for transportation — there’s a bus stop just 50 meters away with direct lines to Palma, El Arenal, and Llucmajor.
• Staff & Service: The staff is wonderful! We arrived an hour early, and they kindly checked us in immediately. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
• The View: Watching the sunset from our balcony every evening was a highlight of our stay.

Breakfast: It’s a decent continental breakfast, but there is room for improvement, especially regarding the quality of the coffee.

Summary: A lovely, small, and clean hotel. Perfect for those who value peace and easy access to local transport.

Cons:

Soundproofing: The walls are quite thin, and you can hear noise from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend bringing earplugs.

The back view and horses

Cons:

Everything apart from the back view plus the AC was so loud in our room , the next door guest almost got into an argument with my boyfriend.
You have to pay for change of towels and bedsheets
No essential stuff in the room like kettles, sugar fridge, the room was so bare , no character to it , no decoration! It made us feel lost !BUT THE “DINNER LADY / PIZZA LADY ,WAS SO NICE ! even if she only spoke Spanish , she was really really nice !❤️

Es ist Geld aus dem Zimmer meiner Schwester verschwunden, bei einem anderen Zimmer ist keine Toilettenspülung gegangen, unsere Karte war die ganze zeit gesperrt sodass wir nie ins Zimmer konnten ohne dauernt zur Rezeption zu laufen, die Betten waren hart, beim Frühstück hat man karkerlaken rumkrabbeln gesehen, ein Mann an der Rezeption hatte Nachtdienst und war so unfreundlich uns gegenüber wenn man was gefragt hatte

Hotel Don Miguel Playa is in a good location with convenient connections to the city center and nearby areas. The staff is good.

Cons:

The hotel was a disappointment overall. Apart from the staff, nothing really met expectations. The room is very old and run-down. There’s a reason you don’t see bathroom photos on Booking, the tiles are very dirty, the inside door handle is worn and brown, and the overall condition is poor. The hotel looks much nicer in photos than in reality. The walls are paper-thin, at 4 a.m. I was woken up by drunk neighbors barking like dogs. Breakfast was below average, while the staff tries, the food quality is not good (powdered eggs and pre-made pancake mix like in the U.S.). If you value your guests, this shouldn’t be acceptable.
