Das einzig gute war die Lage!

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Don Miguel Playa vom 21.05. bis 26.05. war eine einzige Enttäuschung und geprägt von mangelnder Organisation, unfreundlichem Personal und einem völlig inakzeptablen Umgang mit berechtigten Beschwerden.

Bereits Monate vor unserer Anreise hatte ich über Booking.com sowie zusätzlich per E-Mail mit dem Hotel abgeklärt, dass eine dritte Person mit uns reisen wird und wir ein Zustellbett benötigen. Am 16.01. erhielt ich vom Hotel die schriftliche Bestätigung, dass dies möglich sei. Die zusätzlichen Kosten wurden mir mitgeteilt, ich stimmte diesen zu und erhielt daraufhin die Bestätigung. Für mich war die Angelegenheit damit eindeutig geklärt.

Als wir jedoch in der Nacht vom 21. auf den 22.05. gegen 1 Uhr im Hotel ankamen, behauptete der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption plötzlich, von all dem nichts zu wissen. Trotz Vorlage der E-Mails interessierte ihn das überhaupt nicht. Statt nach einer Lösung zu suchen, bekamen wir lediglich die Aussage, dass wir das am nächsten Morgen mit der Chefin klären müssten. Auf die berechtigte Frage, wo die dritte Person in dieser Nacht schlafen solle, zuckte er lediglich mit den Schultern. Weder ein Zustellbett noch zusätzliche Bettwäsche konnten angeblich organisiert werden. Besonders erschreckend war dabei nicht nur die völlige Gleichgültigkeit gegenüber dem Problem, sondern auch die herablassende Art des Mitarbeiters. Statt Verständnis zu zeigen, machte er spöttische Bemerkungen über unsere Verärgerung.

Letztendlich stellte sich heraus, dass wir tatsächlich ein Drei-Bett-Zimmer erhalten hatten. Das Problem lag also offensichtlich in der internen Organisation des Hotels. Anstatt sich für die entstandene Situation zu entschuldigen, wurden wir jedoch behandelt, als hätten wir etwas falsch gemacht.

Der nächste Vorfall war noch gravierender. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren täglich Reinigungskräfte im Zimmer.

Das Hotel ist zwar günstig, mit einer tolle Lage. Allerdings kann man für etwas mehr Geld auch direkt am Ballermann ein

Das Personal an der Rezeption war nachts, als wir angereist sind sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren leider sehr heruntergekommen und teilweise stark beschädigt. Das gesamte Hotel ist extrem hellhörig und wirkt insgesamt renovierungsbedürftig. Auch der Türrahmen im Zimmer war komplett beschädigt. Das Personal am Pool war teilweise unfreundlich. Absolutes No-Go war jedoch, dass man sein eigenes Wasser am Pool nicht trinken durfte und stattdessen gezwungen wurde, Getränke ausschließlich an der Hotelbar zu kaufen. Für den günstigen Preis ist das Hotel zwar akzeptabel, allerdings findet man direkt am Ballermann für wenig mehr Geld deutlich bessere Hotels.

Ottima esperienza, molto vicino alla spiaggia.
Pros:

Hotel molto bello, colazione a buffet con scelta varia e tutto molto buono (presente anche latte senza lattosio o avena). Posizione ottima, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Zona ricca di ristoranti e bar. Personale molto disponibile e cordiale.
