Room ok

Hotel is dated and a bit tired but not to the extent of some of the reviews. We had a very comfortable stay and the staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to help. Very reasonable prices!

Likes - Convenient to our destination. Double room available. Not too expensive for what we had. Coffee and tea making available. Quiet.
Dislikes-
Shabby décor. Small shower, small sink, only one bedside cabinet, no bedside lights.

Nothing, I left after a couple of hours. It was so dirty.

The hotel called us the night before we were due to arrive to say they had double booked. They offered to put us in their sister hotel Normanhurst hotel,Sale. This hotel was absolutely dreadful and the place should be condemned. We can not comment on original booked hotel as we never got to see it. Whilst the staff were very apologetic we would not of accepted their alternative hotel if we had know the terrible state of the building and rooms. We are absolutely disgusted.

Reception was a bit daunting but the rooms was better really quiet so had a good sleep

Absolutely disgusting from the fresh blood in the bathroom and wardrobe to the stains and mould everywhere. Feels very unsafe and is a disgrace

The room was very old fashion and carpet very stained.

Room was clean and tidy but staff knocked my door at 8Am and asked me when I’ll be checking out ,that’s was annoying

Value for money spacious but very old and dated property

Really friendly staff. Breakfast was a well cooked fry up with plenty of vegetarian options. Nice and quiet at night. Within 10 min drive to Trafford Centre. Very convenient if you’re there to watch sporting events. 10-15 min drive to Old Trafford. Definitely will be back again

Hotel is well-sited for Metrolink & various eateries nearby. Room was basic but clean & large enough. The only downside was the extreme noise from within the hotel with thin walls allowing audible chatter at 2am.

We have stayed many times at this no frills hotel which is perfectly located for when we visit our daughter or are flying from Manchester and need to stay over the night before.

We are always made welcome. The rooms in the hotel are very variable with some better than others but the general cleanliness is good. Furniture and curtains etc is often mismatched so expect a little bit quirky.

Very handy for town, shops, restaurants and pubs and they are happy for you to leave your car in the car park before or after check in/out which is very convenient.

There were no glasses in the room but had we asked I am sure they would have provided some.

Property very old and tired.....

In a central place for Sale and trams to Manchester......

The hotel grass was overgrown, the property looked unkempt, i initially wondered if the hotel was operational. my room was in the basement. there was no fan in my room and i couldn't open my window because it was at the level of the overgrown grass. there was no towel in the room. ok but not worth the price

We only saw one member of staff who was very helpful.
This was definitely not a 4 star hotel. Carpets were a trip hazard, mattresses and pillows were very old and uncomfortable. The hot water was not very hot, had to boil a kettle for a shave.
