Dog-friendly.
Friendly staff, easy check-in.
We stayed in a Grand Luxury Pod. The pod was really lovely with an amazing view of the loch. Decent size.
Good food in the restaurant.
Did not appreciate paying an £20 per night for bringing the dogs, especially when there was not a cleaning service each day! These costs should be part of the room cost, not a surprise on check-in.
Pod was very warm on the first night. We had to balance timings between opening the windows and the midges coming out.
The bar didn't have any ales/IPA.
Lovely family run hotel on amazing place, wonderful sea loch, mountains and beach, outstanding restaurant, excuisite cuisine, very caring staff.
Room was cosy, comfy bed, delicious buffet breakfast.
The breakfast was very good and the views of the Loch stunning.
All was good
The location and view from the window was lovely. Breakfast was nice.
There is no lift so carrying our suitcases up the stairs was not easy. Carpet was dated
Breakfast
Hotel tired.
Evening meal awful
Everything . It was new , had a great bed , and a good hot shower with pressure . Loved the little treats that were left there for us .
Nothing it was all good
The location on the side of the loch, you cannot fault, pay the extra for a loch view!
Close to GlenCoe and Fort William.
Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Good Parking.
Comment: A partner hotel to the Morar. (menu exactly the same.)
Some parts are still in need of renovation. (chipped paint etc.)
Only a basic set of towels
Still needs work on the service with some of the team in the restaurant.
Like the Morar, there is something missing, but can't quite get what.
Posizione e vista sul lago
Sporcizia, mancanza di accessori in stanza
The view was fantastic
The shower room was very small
We stayed in a pod. It was spotless with fair facilities. The decking with view was sensational. We ate 2 nights in the hotel's restaurant. The food was excellent; indeed the ceasar salad was one of the best I've ever had!
Just a few tweaks in the pod would've elevated the experience to excellent:
There was only one fork
A dish towel is needed
2 dinner plates required
A fitted sheet for the bed would be much, much easier than a flat sheet (even though the flat sheet used is very good quality!)
Hooks on the back of bathroom door are needed
Pull out drawers (the type on wheels) under bed would be useful
A small table for decking is needed; a fold down one which could be stored at end of bed would be ideal
