Side Town Hotel by Z Hotels

Had 2 weeks in this hotel even thou we booked sun beach spa if they put u road side under reception it will be damp and stink food isn't for the English unless you like sprouts for breakfast I'm not too picky but really struggled to find something too eat everyday except Turkish night it's catered more for German Russians and WiFi is a rip off having to pay extra so if u have kids it's a joke

Stayed here for a week. Hotel catered for german speakers mostly. Food was ok but desserts seems to be the same everyday full of sweet cakes pastories. More catered for the german pallette. People around waiting for food no manners pushing you and acting like they never seen food before. The hotel should have asked people to line up in a normal way not everyone scattering everywhere. The room i stayed in was soooo noisy at night can here the busy road of cars etc didnt have a good rest at all. Asked to be changed however that wasnt possible and had to suffer more. I am sure i payed for sea view one but for some reason got given the one next to busy road. Rooms were cleaned everyday however i noticed they didnt change the bedsheet everyday or pillow cases which is not good at all. The staff at hotel and receptionist not very informative friendly. All seemed moody grumpy majority spoke german and not English. I noticed they were more approachable to germans europeans than people of colour. There were 2 lifts and so small and slow can only fit 4-5 people and had to wait 10 minites for a lift to come at one point. At one point the lift didint work properly which is scary. The sun beds would be booked up everyday. People would leave their towels at night so they can use in morning again which is not good and not fair on other people who want to use and some people would leave their towels for some hours without going on sunbeds so that its saved for them preventing others to use. There should be a strict rule so that everyone gets their fair share. Alot of selfish people in this hotel. I would not recommened this hotel if you want to have a relax time, cus definitely you will not have a relax time. I had a massage done by laila ukranian lady and i must say never had pain in my life she was the worst massagist dont think she knew what she was doing! Do not get a massage done by her. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!

Booked this as a last minute getaway, for a family of 3. The room was ok bit outdated, but clean and cleaners done well everyday. Pool is ok nothing special just a basic pool, they didn’t turn the slide on once while here. Food was absolutely awful same stuff everyday salad and leftovers, ate out everyday. Staff are quite rude and miserable, never talk or smile. Wouldn’t recommend to a fellow British as made to feel out of place by staff and other visitors, hotel used by Germans and suited to them. Only used it as a place to sleep at night spent most time at the beachfront bars and restaurants. No entertainment what so ever not even music on.

Very unclean around the pool and outside dining area, staff were often quite rude we were stuck with one of the rooms in the dungeons with no balcony after being promised by love holidays that we would have a balcony or a terrace so after two days we had to pay £160 to upgrade because the room we got allocated had one window facing a brick wall so no natural light came into the room and one ceiling light so you could hardly see in the room, the room was clean but beds were rock hard literally had a painful back and hip for days after when we came home.
The food was OK lots of choice but definitely not to our taste so we ate out most of the time, no sugar free pop so if your a diabetic then you will have to buy your own or have water
The beach area that the hotel own its about a seven minute walk to was very poor the sunbeds were all broken and the space was tiny no bar there so have to take your own drinks, but the old guy who works down there sweeping off the sunbeds is very hard working and friendly
We would definitely never stay here again but would revisit side its a nice area

Firstly, check in with smooth we arrived at 12.30am didn’t get offered a drink or anything.
The room itself was fairly clean, the noise from the fan outside our room was shocking we guesses it was fan from kitchen.
Complained about room but they made out they never understood us, also had 2 cockroaches in our bathroom which went under the bath again we asked reception about this and they shrugged it off as per usual!!
The food was ok if you wanted to live on vegetables and salad for your whole holiday, also noticed the food was reused day after day.. now the bar staff some were friendly and some of them knew how to have a laugh the rest looked like that had been slapped around the face and would never crack a smile-!
Don’t be fooled by the entertainment, there is nothing during the day by the pool not even music.. then at night your lucky if they put the music on… we had entertainment 2 nights one lasted 15 mins with silly games involving the holiday makers, the winner never got a prize or anything and the other entertainer didn’t even seem professional she kept dropping everything-!!
To top it off the security guard thought it would be ok to try it on with my partner, when spoke to management about this we were told we were lying and making stories up ..
then on our last night we witnessed the receptionist kicking a poor dog in the face and with quite a bit of force, when we questioned him we were told that’s what they do to dogs!!
please do your research and find somewhere better to stay-!

Hi all talking as a British couple on our experience at this hotel couldn't possibly have been any worse than as it has... Starting with the food was always freezing cold and left overs from night before for lunch. Bar staff Pervy as f**k hotel security tried to take advantage of me whilst my partner was in the lobby by pinning me down on the bed and forceably kissing my neck untill I had to fight him off and run from the room and then to top it off on the very last night 11/10/2022 we witnessed the hotel reception man kicking a dog full pelt in the face down the steps and when questioned said this was normal what they do to animals... 1 last thing don't expect any entertainment when booking this hotel there is nothing only Germans sat with grumpy faces! Don't ever come here of you want a decent holiday in Turkey. On the other hand thank you to the guys at Casper which has made our holidays bearable 💕

We arrived 10/30pm no food, room ok beds rock hard view loud rd, breakfast ok lots of choice butter rancid 😔cold rood not kept cold hot was warm, staff arguing, ignored us while they used their phones, bullying going on, glasses not cleaned properly. Sea short walk, watch out for ATM on beach £5 charges plus your bank's, no entertainment or children club, all in all not one I would recommend oh and bottles of beer outside hotel £6 pus 😔

I booked this hotel for my family holiday, it was booked for the kids club and the entertainment packge. Don't be fooled by the advert, there was ZERO kids entertainment and very little adults entertainment that wasn't even worth going to. There were many faults in our room, the worst being there was no safety bar on the top bunk or ladder up to it, so my youngest had to share my bed. There was also mouse poo on my bed . All complaints totally ignored. My parents got a box room with no windows which they also refused to change. The slide for the pool was only open at certain times which was totaly silly as there was never any life guard. The food was ok, got a bit repetitive and was often served cold. The staff were very rude and unhelpful especially for the english speakers. My advice would definitely be to NOT book this and look for a better option. It is definitely not the 4* that was advertised.

We paid for garden view room
And ended up with a room with a bank of air con units from the next hotel situated in what can only be described as a concrete bunker right outside our balcony door ,, noise awful we was moved to another room on top floor there is no garden view rooms at all in this hotel don’t know why they advertise them … room had broken shower water flooded everywhere lights kept flickering and power kept cutting out beds was so lumpy really uncomfortable cleaners changed sheets once in ten days but didn’t do pillow cases , the food was always just warm or cold they used trays of warm water under top food trays to keep it warm there was sprouts on table for breakfast a couple of days the food was awful , the tables was never wiped not once in our stay they would just put dirty mats knifes and forks down regardless if empty glasses or anything on tables nobody spoke English no staff nobody we felt like we shouldn’t have been there like we was invading them, all Russians and Germans this hotel no English they say this hotel four star wouldn’t give it one I’ve come home really ill from there with E. coli and my partner came back with covid this hotel needs to clean up big time , don’t waste your money on this hotel

Had a great holiday at this hotel. Good price quality ratio. Food is very extensive and well prepared. Lots to do in the evenings, the events are hosted by a great guy Emreh. You can laugh and scream with him, he creates a lot of atmosphere. Beach is close and the pool is lovely. Rooms are not very big but have everything you need. Staff is very friendly, helpful and in for a joke. Perfect combination for a lovely holiday.

Verry nice hotel in the middle off Side. Good food good price and a verry good animatie team with Emrah and the house dj!! The sea is verry near the hotel and everything is in walking distance. We had a perfect holliday:)

We are in Side Town Hotel and we have a good time.
Emrah is the entertainer of the hotel and he is a very nice person. He is friendly and a good entertainer. Everyone is enjoying themselves when he is doing a show.He is professional and funny.

Your hotel was very good then what we thought. Stuf good.food not bad.room cleaning is ok.Animasyon is top 👍🎬🎤. Sea is not so far from hotel, you can walk 5 min.good location , close to everywhere. Pool is good for children.We wanna come back.

We chose this first-class hotel because of several fantastic comments. But it was a huge disappointment both for me and my company. We will NEVER go back there. Wondering where the nice comments are coming from because none of it was true!

We would give it a maximum of 2 stars.

Advantages (+):
The only thing that was quite ok was food.

Disadvantages (-):

1. Terribly hard beds!!!
It was like sleeping on the floor. When we asked for an extra mattress, we didn't get one.

2. No soundproofing, it was like sleeping outside on the highway.

We got a room on the 8th floor with a balcony facing a very busy street.
NOTE! Half of all rooms face that street. It is their standard room (not economy). We were sleepless all night and the whole next day was spent messing with the reception and promising that we will complain to the travel company. In the end we got a room that they called "much worse" but it was still quiet, though with equally hard beds and a bad smell out on the balcony.

3. No free sunbeds by the pool or on the beach.

Considering the number of guests, there were very few sunbeds, so we never got a seat by the pool.

4. Terrible hotel beach!!

Very small part of the beach that belonged to the hotel. Except that there were few sunbeds there, they have packed it like herring in a can. An umbrella for 4 suns!!! That means no shadow at all. And you had to crawl on your knees to get on the sun lounger.

Luckily, there was a cafe right next door where you had a big place with nice sunbeds and great wifi. The only thing you had to do was buy a drink and then you could enjoy the whole day. That's where we spent the rest of the week.

5. Very BAD WiFi

We knew that the WiFi would only be in the lobby but there it was so bad that it was not wise! It was like a lottery, you never knew if the WiFi would come or not.

6. Stinky Gym

There was a very disgusting smell in the gym that made you want to throw up. No wonder it was always empty there.

Summation:
In summary, I can say that we longed for home already after 4 days.
All body parts ached after the hard beds.

So we advise against visiting this hotel. Hope the comment is not deleted, so that only the finest untrue comments remain.

Let’s get the good out first… Food, super tasty. Cleaning crew, very sweet. Though the first room’s hotel was super dusty, (had to request another one) the room was placed next to HUGE ventilators and the wifi was terrible, and it didn’t even reach the rooms. The poolside DJ should take a few more classes on being a DJ 😂… The pool chairs were plenty of but they were all occupied by beach towels… EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. with barely a few people in the pool. The reception staff were also quite rude. The beach area was teeny tiny and all of the chairs, again, you guessed it, taken by towels that nobody was on… what a bummer. Hotel was decent, but bjt NOT worth the money, there were plenty of “free” stuff, but not enough to compensate for the inconveniences.

I went on a bois holiday with my mates and we had a blast! We especially enjoyed The Big pool and that there was food all The time. It is also a bonus that they serve ice cream in The afternoon. We also enjoy The shows in The evening very much. And in the Night we like to walk around the town because it was a great location. I Can definetely recommend!

The hotel staff is very kind and helpfull. Special thanks to mr emrah.good entertainer.The pool is very big and clean. The hotel do entertaiment shows every night which is super fun to watch. The fod is decent, nothing speciel. The rooms are okay.

This hotel is very good. The staff is really kind and helpful. The food is okay and changing from day to day. From our hotel room we have a great view over the big pool and the beach. We are a trio of boys who really enjoyed this holiday and it is a big recommendation for everyone.
