The venue is great
When I went into check my friend in for his birthday ,I was asked as long as it's not for a homeless person, who did he think I was ,and how dare he say that to someone paying to stay at the hotel, then having been told breakfast was until 11, my friend came down at 10.45 to be told they had finished service ,so a refund in the breakfast and an apology for being so rude to me
The room was clean and in a good location.
The TV was in an uncomfortable position, so I couldn’t watch it from the bed.
Amazing customer service from the start Kelly was polite attentive and made me feel at home . The assistant manager Louise went out of her way to ensure I was happy during my stay . The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced for the quality .
Room was very spacious and comfortable. The Inn was quiet and staff were accommodating.
N/A everything was great
It was very quirky and a lot of history
Nothing
These hotel rooms always seem spotlessly clean. They have recently gone over to providing coffee bags instead of not so good instant coffee. A nice touch. Yorkshire tea bags are nice too and I found they tasted good with the carton milk instead of the sachet milk that used to be provided.
Not that I didn't like, but would of been good if heater in room had come on a bit earlier in the evening. These rooms are generally reasonably warm but was still chilly in early Spring. Heated towel rail in bathroom didn't come on at all and is not manually controlled from the room.
Great location

Super clean hotel and very kind stuff
Excellent location, very good value for money.
The bed was not massively comfortable.

Extremely comfortable bed and pillow!!!

Central location
The hot water system went very hot then cold then warm, again and again. I mentioned it twice but nothing changed.
Given the hotel's history it's a shame that a proper history brochure is not available, or its history advertised
