Great stay, good location, good food. Not much else to ask for for casual trips
Pros:

Breakfast is good with a nice window view. Room is pretty spacious and decent. Location is perfect, not too far from shizuoka main station and the inner city train service.

Cons:

Aside from the kombini directly connected with the hotel, meal options can be a little limited past 7pm, so meal planning is recommended if your travel plan includes day trips to other regions

A good place to set as a base for traveling in Shizuoka and around
Pros:

-Very near JR Shizuoka Station (South Exit)
-Convenience Store just located next to the hotel (and of course, it is open 24 hours)
-Breakfast is very nice and some menus are changed every day
-Room size is good, and the neighborhood is not noisy at all (even my room was face the main road)
-Free green tea, cold water, coffee and microwave at hotel's lobby with 24 hours availability

Cons:

-Hotel has only 2 elevators, during rush hour you may have to wait longer than expected
-No public bath on-site (it is ok for me though)
-There are not many restaurants around the hotel (you need to go to JR Shizuoka to find more or go on the North Exit)

Good location, room had large open floor space - good if you have a lot of luggage.
Pros:

I would stay at this hotel again. The location was good. about a ten-minute walk from Shizuoka JR station, straight down the main road - very easy to find.
The front desk staff were very efficient and spoke a good level of English, so check-in was easy.
The room had the largest open floor space I think I've stayed in at this price point - the room felt larger than it actually was! It would be great for guests who have a a lot of luggage - you could open several suitcases in the floor space. There was also a large desk and office chair in the room.

Cons:

The room looked quite old, but it was clean.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy.
There was only a very small window in the room, however there was only a view of the brick wall of the building opposite, so the small window didn't matter.
