Comfortable, quiet and tidy was a nice place to stay and just around the corner from the pool.

The hotel is perfectly placed for our needs. Room was fine and it was clean and stocked well.
However the breakfast was very very poor.

Cons:

The breakfast was very very poor. It was cool, over cooked bacon that you couldn’t cut same for the sausage, the eggs were unpleasant. The coffee ran out before 9am and left customers having to have tea or decaf. When I complained I was told well we pop a cup over the handle so we don’t run out later!!!! Pastries dry & burnt. I went to the reception desk to complain and was just given a sorry about that!!! Next day (Sunday) just as bad!

A nice place to stay and enjoy the views.
Pros:

Location is great with great views across the river Wyre. Food was good with plenty of choices.

Cons:

Shower water pressure plus difficult to adjust as felt like the shower thermostat cartridge could do with changing. Bed was not the comfiest. But overall, room and facilities were what to expect on such an old building. Will definitely stay again.

Clean and cofortable, very pleasant for a single night.

Cons:

I was very disappointed upon returning to my room in the morning that it had been cleaned and emptied, my belongings taken as 'lost property'. Id been out for around 45 minutes, returning at 9.30 (prior to the 10am checkout) to find this had happened. A shame as everything else was spot on, this just seemed really strange to me and a bad way to end our stay. Luckily I was already packed and ready to go - the staff returning my property telling me 'we thought they were lost' when they were in a locked room that I hadn't yet checked out of I thought was very poor.

Good value for night's stay.
Pros:

It was a last minute decision to stay and the online booking was very easy to use. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and my room was very quiet. Will stay again when in the area. Very pleased with the service.
