Homely atmosphere, great food and helpful/friendly staff
Pros:

Fantastic atmosphere, I loved the snug in particular. The food was fantastic (evening meal and a pack up for my hike up Blencathra. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Cons:

I wish the TVs had Netflix, Youtube etc as apps you can use. It's not a deal breaker, but would be nice to see.

Great hotel if you are sailing at Bassenthwaite sailing club. Top notch.
Pros:

The location was perfect for me as I was participating in a sailing event at Bassenthwaite Sailing Club Which was a 9 minute drive away. The staff were warm, friendly and could not be more helpful. They must have a top chef as the food was fantastic.

Paid £1,100 for four nights and it was pathetic excuse would not recommend the property or go back!

The property was nice

Cons:

The electric went off from storm Dave which is expected in the Lakes however when the property your renting for Easter Weekend is right next to the generator which switches on but only half the hotel is connected to it and the property your renting is NOT its ridiculous and the noise from the generator is like an 18 tone Wagon parked outside your window. Complained to Management and they didn’t care and was greeted by a well it’s the lakes!

Lovely charismatic hotel
Pros:

I loved the character of the hotel and the staff were warm friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent with great food.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike. My single room was quite small but more than adequate.

Relaxing enjoyable stay, thank you.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing, and out evening meal was too. The Staff were all very friendly and the service was excellent. We will be going back to stay at Ravenstone Manor.
