Bed in room was smaller than advertised.
Stayed 2 nights, the room wasn’t cleaned or towels changed tea/ coffee replaced etc.

First class and some. From start to finish.
Pros:

Staff, Staff, Staff. Absolutely lovely every one of them. Location spectacular. Building was amazing. Breakfast beautifully cooked. So dog friendly it was unbelievable. Our room was lovely although it was mid major heatwave, everywhere was hot but the room was very nicely decorated spotlessly clean, and just because we were with our little dog it didn’t mean we felt like we had been put in one of the second rate rooms, which is often the case when you travel with a dog this was super. We are already planning our next trip. Possibly when it’s a bit cooler. ( Typical British… never happy 😆)
But back to the place just can’t speak highly enough.

Enjoyed our stay despite small room food was good. Service was good but declined slightly the longer we stayed.

The position, lovely views and friendly staff

Cons:

Our room was booked late so no choice of rooms. Our room was very small, shower was weak over bath with no bath mat. Very slippy.

The most dog friendly hotel we’ve been to
Pros:

It feels like home. It’s so warm and comforting. The staff are beyond friendly and genuinely want you and your pet there.

Cons:

Not really anything to add. Our room was a bit small but we picked the smallest room so that was on us. Perhaps if I was to be very picky, the shower wasn’t that powerful.

Such a beautiful place to relax in and many places around to visit or walk around
Pros:

The manor was in a very romantic setting with comfortable cosy places to hang out and read or play games in the lounge or the bar. We loved the relaxed country house atmosphere, and the food was amazing, and the different hikes around the countryside ranged from easy to quite challenging

Cons:

We loved everything but the rain was a bit annoying
