⭐ ONE OF THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCES WE'VE EVER HAD — I DON'T RECOMMEND!

Our experience at Globales Santa Lucía was simply horrible. We left the hotel with a single feeling: we had thrown our money in the trash.

Starting with the food: terrible, flavourless, without quality and practically without variety. We were in Mallorca, Spain, and we expected to find Spanish food, local dishes and typical ingredients from the region. Instead, it felt like we were staying at a British resort: fish with fries, curry and dull food almost every day.

It reached a point where we preferred to leave the hotel, eat at the surrounding restaurants and pay for a Balinese bed on the beach than stay there. And that says absolutely everything about the hotel's gastronomic experience.

The drinks were also a disappointment. Drinks simply taken from bottles and placed directly in tall plastic glasses. No care, no preparation, no flavour. Where is the cocktail shaker? Where are the ingredients, well-prepared ice, mixture and some minimum quality? Beer also seemed like an extremely cheap and low-quality option.

The pool is another absurdity. If you want a lounger, you apparently need to wake up at 7am or 8am to be able to put your towel and secure a place. Otherwise, good luck. Instead of a quiet vacation, it looks like a competition to get a lounger.

The air conditioning in the room was practically useless. He couldn't cool the environment properly, which made the nights extremely uncomfortable.

The beds were two single beds placed together for a couple and there was constantly a space between them. Very uncomfortable and definitely not what we expected when we booked a room for a couple.

There was also a huge gap under the door, making anyone walking down the corridor could be heard inside the room. It was possible to hear footsteps and movements constantly, which made us wake up very early unnecessarily.

We paid extra for the “all-inclusive” package, but there was absolutely nothing all-inclusive about this hotel. It felt like there was an extra charge or deposit for everything. We had to pay extra just to use the safe, pay and leave a deposit to get an iron, and pay/deposit for towels. I have traveled extensively and have never experienced an “all-inclusive” hotel charging guests for such basic amenities.

Even the drinks were misleading. All-inclusive guests were handed a separate, limited menu with cheaper drinks instead of being able to order from the regular menu. The beach was also not part of the property as the listing made it appear. It was separate, and if you wanted a lounge chair, you had to pay extra again.

The room itself was another nightmare. The hair dryer would overheat after about three minutes of use and then stop working for approximately 15 minutes while it cooled down. We reported it and asked for another one, but the hotel refused to replace it. The door was constantly squeaking; they eventually fixed that after we complained. Housekeeping also failed to replenish the water bottles in our room after cleaning.

For something advertised and sold as an adults-only, all-inclusive hotel, the entire experience was unacceptable. We paid more specifically for the convenience of all-inclusive and instead spent the stay dealing with additional charges, deposits, broken amenities, missing basics, and poor service. I would absolutely not stay here again and would not recommend paying extra for their “all-inclusive” package.

Safe expensive to hire

Too much pork. Pork every day not enough choice Beds uncomfy

This hotel ruined my whole holiday! When I turned up for my two night stay which I had booked 2 months in advice they said they had over booked, so moved me into another hotel inland which was terrible. So I left and booked another hotel late into the night at a huge extra cost. It really ruined my whole trip and they have now said they wont give me a refund which I will fight. Absolutely awful situation. Avoid!
