A great location for an overnight stop after the lateish docking for the ferry from the UK

La camera al piano terra con finestra sul parcheggio..zero aria condizionata e ovviamente non si poteva aprire la finestra…colazione continentale scarsa ..solo la parte dolce era adeguata
Good location for us. Close to restaurants and shops. Bus stop not far either. Room on the small side but it is an ibis budget hotel. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Didn’t have breakfast in the morning.
The building from the outside isn’t pretty.

Convenient location for Ferry port.
When checking in (4 hours after available time of 12pm), our room wasn't ready but we were moved to another room. When we arrived in there were black bugs ALL OVER the walls, windows, bed linen, my babies cot, inside the quilt, on the mattress, bathroom and even inside the pillowcases. I immediately complained to the receptionist who said 'ah yes they are around at the moment', I think reiterated that they were in our linen. Only then did he tell me he would go and vacuum the room and if we weren't happy he would move us. Great all good. When we got back an hour later we asked if it was done, he said he'd tried his best and that he couldn't help it (true) as they are everywhere and they wouldn't hurt us (which we knew) and that all rooms would be the same (I highly doubt that). I left feeling so disappointed when we got back to our room and they were still everywhere, albeit on a smaller scale, we ended up cleaning ourselves as the typical brits we are hate to complain EVER. We barely slept as we felt so creeped out and itchy and didnt want to lay in such dirt. As well as this, the room was genuinely just filthy, dust everywhere under furniture that clearly is rare moved, the sink stunk of eggs every time the tap was run, the shower head wouldn't fit in the shower holder and would fall off onto the floor. It felt like a real horrible end to our lovely holiday. We have actually stayed here before and found it just ok and convenient but we will next time either look elsewhere or get the overnight ferry home! if booking, please maybe just consider somewhere a bit better even if the price / location is just convenient for you.
