Key for door was out of battery. Waiting quite a while outside the room for replacement of the battery. Management should have routine check the battery of the door.

Good stay in Miri
Pros:

The place is located near the river mouth. Beautiful scenery both early morning and sunset. The room is larger than most. Nice layout. The Aircon is comfortable especially in face of the seaside heat.
The breakfast is not too bad although it's a normal hotel fare.
Request for items are quite promptly. I like the parking arrangements.

Cons:

1. the coffee making facility is kept in a cupboard. House keepers don't seem to clean it properly
2. the laksa Sarawak is nothing to shout about. the Malay Sous Chef is very young and seemed quite lost when serving laksa Sarawak.
3. the waiters are too few and the service to clear tables are quite slow.

Best Hotel in Miri
Pros:

Room was huge, outlook was sensational. The hotel is beautiful and spacious and the staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. Two staff were a standout, Nurin was exceptional and assisted us with organising vegan breakfasts every morning with some different each day. Balantana in the restaurant greeted us each morning and organised our breakfast. Compliments to Natasha the Chef who created interesting, different and tasty breakfasts.
