Zbog prirode posla putujem po cijeloj Hrvatskoj i bio sam gost u preko stotinu hotela. Bilo je raznih iskustava, ali ovakvu razinu neprofesionalnosti i nekorektnosti još nisam doživio.
Preko platforme sam rezervirao noćenje sa doručkom uz plaćanje u objektu. Naplaćen mi je polupansion a iznos su mi skinuli unaprijed sa tekućeg?! Tek kada sam im pokazao potvrdu od hotels. com ( expedie) su pokušali nešto napraviti a trebali im je gotovo pola sata bezglavog zivkanja i "konzultiranja" dok nisu navodno uspjeli riješiti grešku. Kako sam zbog te sramotne upravo sumanute (dok sam ih gledao nisam znao bi li se smijao ili plakao) već ozbiljno kasnio nisam pogledao navodno ispravnu verziju računa. Po povratku sa službenog puta sam račun proslijedio u računovodstvo. Odakle su me obavijestili da je na računu naveden polupansion???!?!?!??!!!! Nema smisla navoditi koje je komplikacije izazvala, sad više neznam da li (zlo)namjerna opetovana greška. Pa ukratko rezime, 1)čekanje od pola sata na grešku koju u početku (dok im nisam ja pokazao potvrdu o rezervaciji umjesto da je oni sami nađu) nisu htjeli ni priznati
2) kašnjenje od skoro pola sata čekalo me 10 kandidata
3) problemi oko obračuna troškova sluzbenog puta koje tek trebam pokušati riješiti sa računovodstvom
A nebitne sitnice oko neviranja, očitog ignoriranja problema, iritantne nezainteresiranosti...itd...itd neću ni spominjati.

Croatia is a mesmirisingly beautiful country and it is really nice to visit it and enjoy its beauty. The hotel is situated in a small place called Rabac and overall I had a wonderful time there. The main highlights for me was the food at the hotel restaurant and its location. There was plenty of choice both for breakfasts and dinners and I would give it 5 out of 5 for it. The hotel also has a lovely sauna area where you can chill out ;-) and relax. The prices for massages were also of good value for money.
The hotel is immaculately clean and it has the staff like cleaners from some Asian countries to do the hard work. And they are absolutely amazing, I do hope their pay reflects it otherwise it is not clear to me why the country with the high unemployment rates would bring people to work there.
The economy rooms on the 6th and 7th floor which were overlooking the road are without doubt the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. They are tiny and they don't have a balcony or a terrace so the experience of having such a room is not great.
I spoke to two people who upgraded to better rooms with the balcony/terrace and a sea view. So if you are picking up a room while booking this hotel try to choose wisely not to be disappointed. :-) The upgrade of the room is 25 euros per person per day when you are at the hotel. So if you are a couple you will end up paying an extra 350 euros per a week which I find to be too much as even better rooms are far from the modern standards in the hotel business.
You can use sunbeds on the beach for free but they are a bit further away from the sea. It looks as if whatever can be sold in Croatia will be sold as you can't enjoy a view without paying for it.
All these upselling of things which is a part of the hotel experience in the majority of other countries is irritating to say the least.
On the first night at the hotel people were not allowed to use a terrace. The hotel doesn't have too many facilities on offer why to stop people from using a terrace with a beautiful view is beyond me. You cannot have your coffee in the morning there either as the only way to use is to buy something from very overpriced bar.
When you arrive at the hotel there is no warm welcome or any welcome at al unfortunately. As it was a TUI trip for me with an early flight I was at the hotel at 10:30 in the morning and I was told to come at 14:00 or 15:00.
It was raining cats and dogs and there was even hail on that day and to be sent outside in these conditions seemed to be more than unwelcoming. When I was leaving the hotel the receptionist did not ask how was my stay and I was not even was told "good-bye or thank you". In my opinion Croatia is way behind its competitors in the hospitality sector in comparison to other countries in the world. Its natural beauty helps it to attract the tourists I think.
As Rabac is so tiny I do recommend to take a day boat trip which includes lunch and visit to two islands which I found to be a great value for money.
The weather in May was not good for a visit as it was raining every single day so be aware when you choose the time of your visit.
However, I had great time overall and I did relax.
I have not shared my experience and travel stories with other travelers. In any case, very good hotel, food!, very good live music, very kind staff at the reception desk. Will visit you again. But, next time will take sea side room.
Room had the bed hedboard all riptoff and old, bathroom smelled, make a re se rvatuon on booking for three adults and one child, never been told anything at checkin, only to be asked to pay 680€ more at checkout for the reason that the reservation was made for three adults only☹️, don’t think i’ll visit Croatia again, ever
We stayed with our family for 5 days. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and everything, and we will definitely come back.

some things that bothered me:
there is no supervision at the pools, people also have an inflatable boat at the pool, balls fly everywhere, you have to be careful because they are jumping on head.
Parking is hard to get
We had our first family mini vacation with our 3 months old baby. The service overall was excellent, special thanks to the reception.
The hedera is set in it's own bay with a beautiful coast line the hotel staff are helpful and friendly the food is of a good standard with a choice for everyone highly recommended a good relaxing holiday
The staff are wonderful, I've not had a single bad experience with any of the even with the language barrier, I'm British, the food is buffet stile for all 3 meals and there's almost always something to eat or something new to try though over half is repeated for such as the salads and side dishes. The desserts are wonderful, ice cream, cakes & fruit, though there could be more variety.
The drinks cool be improved, the soft drink station is only available at breakfast as is the hot drinks and for lunch & dinner you have either beear, wine, cola, citron or peach ice tea and there's jugs of water and sparkling water.
The plates are cleared up quickly by the staff who check to make sure your finished before removing them.
The beach is full of stones and is difficult to walk on but the ocean is wonderful to swim in though it's very salt heavy.
WiFi is terrible, it's not available in my room, only accessible in reception and only just in the all inclusive area though it keeps cutting out.
The all inclusive area is disappointing, there's no bar only a selection of drinks that's not worth it, the seats are hardly comfortable for long lengths of time and there's no designated smoking area.
The dining hall staff are wonderful, the food isn't always labeled and not always recognisable.
The pools are lovely but not deep enough for adults to swim in, they're more for family's and children.
The packed lunches are unacceptable, the food chosen is not something suitable for this weather without being put in a fridge, some was seafood which many won't eat and others was egg salad which didn't do well in the heat. The packaging was okay but done wrong, the fruit & bread was placed in plastic bags while the mains & sides were placed in tin & cardboard containers that leaked with no protection against the paper bag, which created a huge mess when trying to remove them.
ENORMOUS Hotel 7 floors 3 swimming tools perfect for families. rooms aren't clean. ask for a room with front view beacause on the 6th and 7th floor you risk to be' on the road. very good buffet at breakfast and dinner

At last were allowed to travel freely. We had this tour rearranged 3 times.
The journey by express coach is very long but our drivers Rachael and Antony were excellent. There are plenty of breaks along the way and a fresh cuppa is available on the coach. Our first day was in the resort so we had time to recover from the long journey which was great.
Hotel was very good, large room with balcony and sea view, food was buffet style and was plentiful and varied, but don't expect full english breakfast and fish & chips. The included drinks were self service from the summer pool bar, which was open 10:00am to 10:00pm, there was another bar with entertainment but you had to pay for the drinks. which was not an issue to us as we ventured to the bar around 9:30pm.
All the staff were friendly and polite, we did notice that the hotel was hiring new staff every day as they have only just reopened after covid
Excursions around Istria were great and Rachael and Antony kept us informed about the places we went.
Overall a great first tour with the new Shearings/Leger company.

We arrived at the hotel hedra rabac and at first was quite pleased with the looks and pleased with the rooms and that was has far has it got
We had booked all inclusive holiday through sherings bus tour so there was 26 people arrived with us we were shown our rooms and was pleased with it nice and big lovely bathroom and lovely balcony we were told were to go for drinks and meals the meals wasn't that bad there was something for everyone if you liked chips
The hotel was pretty full us English and the rest German we all ate in the same dining room and that was it we the English had to go to an annexe at the other end of the hotel while the Germans went to a posher bar and terrace we were segregated from them they had a lovely terrace to sit on they had snacks on the table and they had waiter and waitress service we had NONE we had to get our own drinks which were just plonked on the bar and we had to drink out of plastic glasses (German had glass) they also had entertainment evernight we didn't
Our bus driver talked to the manager about us been segregated and why we couldn't go to the other bar has all inclusive ment all together the manager said no and he was adamant that we could not go to that other bar unless we paid he said it was because they were paying guest and were drinking premium drinks NO someone from our group went in with plastic glass in hand and was escorted out of the bar but they said they were drinking the same has we had on the bar
They also had entertainment evernight the manager said he would arrange a night for us to have entertainment we felt that he only did this to shut us up all the women on the tour had filled the survey in and they weren't good .
The staff on reception was ok and the cleaners who couldn't speak English but was very plesent
Our seating area in the annexe was very uncomfortable sitting on wicker seats no cushions were as the other patio the seating was very comfortable there bar shut at 11pm were the bar we were was shut at 10 o'clock
The grounds of this hotel was lovely they had some lovely roses which smelt lovely
All in all our stay was spoilt by been segregated away from the other guests I would never set foot in this hotel ever again and I shall tell all my friends and family about it so if you want to be segregated from the other guests go to this hotel there are plenty of hotels that are much nicer than this one and we only found these by having a ride on the train and there are some beautiful ones and if I ever go back to rabac then I shall give my money to them has the place its self was very prity indeed
Wir hatten dieses Hotel zum Glück nur für eine Nacht als Start für unsere Kroatien-Rundreise gebucht. Wer auf lauten Schlager, der von der Hotelterrasse schallt, steht, kommt auf seine Kosten. Nach dem Check in ging es aufs Zimmer. Mein Freund ist 1,94m groß und wurde unfreiwillig zum Staub-und Flusenfänger umfunktioniert als wir den Gang langliefen. Die Decken sollten danach sauber gewesen sein.
Im Zimmer angekommen, sorgte der Blick ins WC für einen Würgereiz. Es war einfach nur dreckig. Morgens gegen 5 wird man dann (bei der Wahl eines Zimmers zur Straße hin) von Autos und Motorrädern geweckt, die durch die Nähe zur Straße (direkt vor dem Fenster) durchs Bett zu fahren scheinen. Das WLAN funktionierte auf Grund eines technischen Problems nicht. Im Nachbarhotel konnte man uns weiterhelfen. das Highlight war das Frühstück. Bereits 9 Uhr war alles leer gefegt, den Platz konnte man nicht selbst wählen. Ein zorniger Kellner diktierte uns an welchem Tisch man zu sitzen habe. Unser Wunsch auf der Terrasse Platz zu nehmen wurde bereits von vornherein entschieden abgelehnt. Als man uns beim Check Out nach unserer Zufriedenheit fragte, und wir entsprechend aufzählten, war die Antwort: Dann beschweren sie sich doch beim Anbieter.
Es war nicht nur die teuerste Nacht des Urlaubs, sondern auch die einzig schlimme! Denn das Land hat Gastfreundlichkeit und tolle Ferienwohnungen zu bieten!
Hotel junto al mar en un lugar muy bonito, tiene cuatro piscinas y se llega al pueblo a través de un agradable paseo. Es una lástima que sólo haya WiFi en el vestíbulo
Inget wi-fi på hotellet, nämns att det finns i lobbyn men det fanns inget där. Blir hänvisad till hotellet bredvid och dess lobby för wi-fi, går dit men oerhört instabilt och frustrerande långsamt.

Frukost och middag som var smak och fantasilös. Tyvärr inte gott alls och då fanns det endel att välja på. Tråkig frukost med mycket folk i rörelse. Hotellets inredning är från 80-talet med pasteller och lukten av rök är ständigt närvarande förutom på rummet.
Rummet som vi hade var renoverat och fräscht på 7:e våningen med en fin havsutsikt. Närhet till strand där badvattnet var sådär.
Tre stora hotellkomplex som smockats upp på liten yta med camping och aktiviteter runtomkring som tennis och minigolf mm. Trångt för parkering av egen bil om du ens fick någon plats. Parkering ingick i priset.
