MASLINICA Narcis Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The ambiance was welcoming and relaxing, and everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, and the amenities added extra value to the stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

It is a good place for a family holiday. 4 swimming pools, beach with clear water. Food was great everything you can find for everyone's taste. Rabac was 5min walk with a beautiful view. It is a magical place. Room was great with a nice view, cleaned daily by nice lady.

I have booked this hotel from a third party. Reading reviews I was sceptical but I was so glad that I choose this place.
Hotel is great 4 swimming pools and the beach so close. The water is nice and clean.
Our room was on 3rd floor so the view was good. Room was daily clean and towels changed. The terrace was perfect to relax after a day out. We was lucky that we was on 3rd floor as lift was slow and only 4 people could be in there. So waiting for lift was a waste of time for us.
We booked Half Board and the food was amazing. Breached had so many options and dinner was even better. So many options and the most sea food was amazing. Kids have options from chicken nuggets, pizza , chips or other options if they liked. We stayed there 6 nights and the food for adults was every night diferent with so much options. I am gluten free and at the breakfast time I was surprised how many options I could choose.
Resort is so beautiful and you can find anything for diferent age.
Rabac is only 5min walk and the view it's amazing.
Only thing that annoyed us is car park. It took us 40min to find a space. But in general this hotel is great place.

Hotel in reasonable position, bit dated obviously. Lifts are useless and need upgrading. Breakfast needs improvement.

Decent location and facilities. Not the 4* experience we expected based on numerous other venues around the Mediterranean and Aegean so would rate as 3* at best.
Almost, but in trying to cover too many bases fall short of being anywhere near 4* hospitality

Really disappointed. There is a sign at the entrance to the hotel that says pets are allowed in the hotel, but when we arrived, the only place where dogs are welcome is the room. Rooms are extremely hot and it is not possible to leave a dog in the room. Dogs are not allowed outside on the open terraces. I should mention that pets are charged 20 euros per day, so it would at least be okay if they were allowed outside on the hotel terraces.
In other hotels where dogs are also allowed, we were able to go to the café and restaurant terrace with our pet.As for the beach, there is no shade at all.
The hotel location is nice, but the hotel does not deserve 4 stars and the sign that pets are allowed.

Really disappointed overall. Constant banging on my door by kids, up until midnight some nights. why there is over 50+ kids in my the hotel is ridiculous. Less than 10 adults supervising them as I’m sure they are from a school. Won’t be staying again.

I don’t know about others but this is not 4 star hotel.
Rooms need renovation. I rather took shower on the beach than in the bathroom.
All we got in bathroom was shower cap and shower gel. For 4 star hotel that it is not acceptable.
I didn’t like the bed either. Woke up with back pain.
Also you can only recharge your phone on one place. There was two of us therefore 2 phones.
Food was ok.
Staff was great and friendly.

This hotel was absolutely brilliant ,the staff were so helpful,the rooms were too a very high standard and the food was second to none

We ( family of 4, 2 kids) spent a very enjoyable week at hotel Narcis. Narcis is part of the maslinica hotel complex, so all amenities are available to guests from all 3 hotels, which is great because a lot is available (including fitness, sauna, mini disco for kids). The hotel was very clean, and well staffed. Usually our room was even cleaned by the time we returned from breakfast!
The rooms are very large and spacious with generous sized balconies and plenty of storage spaces for luggage and clothes. We were also pleasantly surprised to see a drying rack on the side of the balcony! The beds were comfortable and we slept well, including the kids which had a bed/ sofa.

The food was really excellent. We had half board (breakfast and dinner) and didn’t need to buy lunch because we were still full but we usually bought some ice cream cones with the kids:)I enjoyed the grilled vegetables at breakfast (peppers and eggplant) as well as the huge selection of fresh seasonal fruits like melons, apricot and plums. The kids liked the waffles and pancake machine. We also also thought the filter coffee was very good!! (But we didn’t like the coffee from the machine, it was instant coffee). At dinner we especially enjoyed the chicken legs, spinach and risotto (thank you to the staff for working hard and cooking so well). Food was always brought out very quickly and it seemed like there was more than enough for everyone. We never experienced long queues at breakfast or dinner even though we went during the main tourist season.

Thr location is excellent. The hotel is very close to the beach, and there are free lounge chairs ( white with a red M) guests can use. We enjoyed walking the promenade, checking out the other beaches and many activities like SUP, snorkeling, swimming, the floating obstacle course (wibit fitness park) and cliff diving from another beach about 3 km away, plus a pirate ship excursion .

Overall the experience was very good and we would come again.

The negatives are only 2:
1. The elevators are few and far between. Because of this we only used the elevators twice the entire trip: once to take the big suitcases up to our room and once to take them back down, even though we lived on the 5th floor. We are young and fit so we didn’t mind taking the stairs but if you have mobility issues or a baby stroller you may want to ask for a lower floor, or else you will spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator. Some guests told us they regularly had to wait over 10 minutes for the elevator.
2. The air conditioner was not very good. It blew slightly cooler air but our room was never “fresh”- maybe 23° or 24°. In the evening it seemed that the air quality decreased and it started smelling a bit stale. We slept with the big terrace door open instead of using air con at night, so it was ok. I think if there had been a heat wave it would have been much too hot in the room.

I had the most fantastic holiday. First time as a solo traveller and went with Shearings. I couldn't fault anything about any aspect of my holiday. The hotel was spotless, the food was delicious and I made lots of friends with my other bus buddies. Would highly recommend. I will most certainly use Shearings again. Jim and Ash our tour guides where absolutely brilliant and made the holiday even more fun. The excursions to places like Pula and Porec were amazing too and included in the holiday! Perfect.
Croatia is a stunning place and Rabac is a joy to visit with crystal clear water and lovely little shops and bars to visit as you walk around the harbour, I absolutely loved my stay here and would highly recommend.

I must mention the lovely Katerina in the bar, her smile was warm and welcoming and the staff worked tirelessly to keep all the guests happy.

Unprofessional personnel at the reception and in the restaurant, cheap beds and accessories, cheap soft drinks, food ok, wellness great. The personnel almost kicked us out of the room cause it was their last day (we were in time!). The hotel market almost empty as if it was war.

Rooms have clima but all guests have a problem with clima in room we have 29C, we have allinclusive. Lunch and diner always the same food. Some food fast out of stock… in the kichen chef don’t speak croation or english.. i don,t recommend it this hotel :(

We stayed here for one week and we really enjoyed everything. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Big rooms with balcony. Swimming pools and beach close to the hotel. I really want to recommend this hotel for families!

A very nice hotel. Clean rooms. I had the breakfast and the dinner, all were very good. Very nice beach. I have a pleasant holiday. I will come back. I had a superior standard room.

We were here for the first time, but certainly not the last.

We stayed here for a week on our Shearings tour of the Croatian Coast.
A pleasant , clean hotel with friendly staff.
The room was spacious and comfortable. We would have expected phone charging point and a kettle, but fortunately, had brought our own. The food was well-presented and of good variety.
The hotel’s location- near to a beach and a small village was excellent. Good value in a lovely location.

Abbiamo soggiornato con la famiglia e degli amici dal 20 al 27 agosto 2017.
Gruppo di Hotel molto grandi con annesso campeggio, a prima vista puo' sembrare caotico, in realtà spazi e ambienti molto ampi che permettono una buona convivenza (3 piscine x esempio...peraltro direi del tutto inutili visto lo splendido mare!!!)
Camere spaziose e pulite. Tutte con balcone con 2 sdraio e un tavolino.
Abbiamo scelto la formula BB quindi non siamo in grado di valutare la cucina, tranne che per la colazione.
Colazione ottima, molto varia con possibilità di accontentare davvero tutti, presente frutta fresca, angolo del benessere e davvero tanta varietà di cibi sia cotti che crudi.
Presente anche un minimarket con prezzi accettabili
Ottimo il ristorante a "la carte" l'ANCORA alla fine della spiaggia (verso i gonfiabili), cucina d'eccellenza con prezzi da trattoria italiana, con un' avvertenza: non andate oltre le 20.30 (la cucina chiude alle 22.15 e diventano un po' frettolosi e sbrigativi). Se andate di sera non prendete il tavolo nel dehors vicino alla fontana, è frequentato da insetti e animaletti fastidiosi...
La camminata verso il paese (raggiungibile comunque anche con un trenino) è bellissima con possibilità di accedere al mare direttamente.
Abbiamo visitato Labin, Opatja e Fiume, fatto una gita in barca sull'isola di CRES (fantastica!).
Torneremo sicuramente, anche per visitare altre zone...
