The area is very quiet, and the room was spotlessly clean and tidy. I loved the beautiful sea view from the property. Also, the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making my stay very pleasant.

The owners were responsive on WhatsApp; they were fine.
It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t ever return. There is a well-stocked shop nearby. We had a car; from the main road you have to climb a long, steep uphill to reach the house.

Everything, one of the best or maybe the best accommodation we have been through booking. Perfect hosts, excellent view, great location

Ten apartament to komfortowa baza wypadowa, aby odkrywać wyspę Mahe. Znajdziecie tu wszystko, czego potrzeba do swobodnego wypoczynku, w naszym przypadku były to: dwie sypialnie (z łóżkiem podwójnym i dwoma pojedynczymi), wpełni wyposażony aneks kuchenny oraz łazienkę. Ceny są bardzo atrakcyjne, szczególnie biorąc pod uwagę oferowany standard. Właściciel jest zawsze pod ręką, gotowy do pomocy i w stałym kontakcie (Whatsapp). Choć dom jest położony na wzgórzu i warto mieć samochód, my nie czuliśmy się odizolowani - na przystanek autobusowy idzie się 5min.

We spent a great month at Chez Lorna. Apartment is very clean, the view from the terrace - gorgeous. The hosts are super nice and helpful. There is also good connection with other parts of the island by bus.

Property was fantastic with huge patio and views of the ocean, islands and windmills. Main bedroom has A/C and living room/kitchen has big fan. Steep hill to walk from main road but very happy at the main road junction was a good-size supermarket. With public bus service ending every day at 7 pm, it's good to have a supermarket there to buy groceries to cook dinner in the apartment. Owners Theodore and Lorna were extremely nice and charming.

Great stay, Theo and Lorna make you feel like home! Great view from a private terasse, where you can spend nice evenings (a large nice table with sofas and sunbeds available). The apartment is well equipped, and the bus stop is a few minutes away. Highly recommended!

Our stay was perfect. Theo and Lorna are the best and we received all the information we needed. A friend from the area, Lindy, cooked us dinner every evening and the food is great at reasonable prices.

Very nice and well equipped apartment, two rooms, 2 single and 1 double bed, bathroom, kitchen annex, all necessary kitchen utilities, air conditioning. Big terrace with nice view. Comparing to other similar places in Seychelles, very reasonably priced. Owner very helpful and communicates daily via Whatsapp whenever necessary. House is behind the fence and locked door, quite safe.

Good for staying if you have a car (we rented one, so no problem for us) - apartment is 350m uphill from main coastal road and 3.5km from Victoria center. Without the car one could feel somewhat isolated.

We had a superb stay at Chez Lorna. From the moment we booked, the hosts were in contact via Whatsapp to offer information and advice for our trip and they were always responsive and available to answer our questions. Although they were away during our stay, other members of the family were available at the adjoining property to welcome us and offer tips for our stay.
The accommodation was spacious and comfortable with a good kitchen and lovely outdoor terrace area with great views of the bay below.
Although there isn't a dedicated parking spot, there is plenty of space to park in the street outside and we never had trouble finding a space.
The area is residential and we really enjoyed being in a local neighbourhood, especially since we visited over Christmas and could see and hear neighbours as they prepared to celebrate. At the end of the street is a well stocked mini market, but there isn't really anything to walk to in the area in terms of tourist attractions. This suited us well as a family with small kids since we had a hire car anyway - I would say a car is essential if staying here since buses are not very frequent.
Overall we were very happy to stay at Chez Lorna and would definitely book again.

The apartment is about 16 m2. There is one window which looks to a high wall, therefor the apartman is very dark, except if you switch on the light. The walls are mouldy, which smell if you do not air the room regularly. The entrance door and wall paintings are worn out, the roof gives noises from above, the shower is all right, the aircon is good. There are hundreds of small insects, even lizards which you can recognize after some days everywhere. But the worst were some cockroaches which were running up the wall. There is a separated kitchen for the apartments which is quite big but the equipment there are warn out, for example, I would not fry anything in that oven. The terrace is great, there is beautiful view from there. The owners are kind and the family next door which cook for all guests are wonderful. The country is great and beautiful and highly developed comparing it to African countries! The apartment is found in a hilly area, therefor you must go up one km from the main road. Taxi from the airport is expensive, a good advice to have enough rupee from the very beginning otherwise taxi drivers may cheat on you. You can buy 1, 4, 8 days bus cards which may drive you anywhere. The catamaran ferry to La Tigue island is very good but 144 EUR. There are some nice boat trips, around 120 EUR, as well.
