Pros:

The London Palace is a great place to stay in Anuradhapura, as it’s a good base for exploring the ancient city and visiting other towns. Sudath always made sure I had a good time there and arranged for a wonderful tuk-tuk driver. Be sure to ask for Siga if you’re interested in exploring all the sights by tuk-tuk.
The rooms are good; the balconies are a particular highlight. The breakfast is delicious.

Pros:

Staff super cordiale e gentile, camera comoda, pulita e ampia con un bel balconcino. Buona colazione. Zanzariera sul letto.

Cons:

Non c’è bagnoschiuma o shampoo quindi portateli/acquistateli prima.

Pros:

The structure has a beautiful breakfast area with a view on the surrounding nature. Breakfast is really good, you can choose between continental and typical food. Both really tasty! The room is spacious and clean, and above all Suda is the best host ever! He is very present and ready to help you, a really good person. We had our best time!

Excellent Stay at London Palace
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at London Palace. The room was a great size, really cool and clean and the bed was very comfy. Our room had a balcony where we enjoyed drinks and card games after our journey to Anuradhapura.

The ancient city is too far to walk, but is easily reachable by bike or tuk tuk. We caught a tuk tuk to Sun Cycles where we hired bikes and explored the city from there. We had such an amazing time and we couldn't recommend Anuradhapura highly enough!

Sudath was an exceptional host. He was extremely friendly and helpful, offering to hire us bikes, organise tuk tuks and drivers for other excursions. He also recommended exciting places to see and local places to eat. We arrived late on our first day and he arranged delicious food for us at the hotel. And the breakfast was delicious, too!

Séjour agréable dans un hôtel authentique, cakme et arboré
Pros:

L’emplacement, dans une rue calme et arborée, a l’écart de l’agitation, l’hôtel lui-même, une maison plutôt belle, la chambre avec terrasse et vue sur le jardin (avec de nombreux oiseaux), l’accueil formidable de Sudath, toujours disponible et souriant.

Cons:

Franchement pas grand chose. C’est un détail mais j’aurais juste souhaité un drap plus grand.

Très bonne étape à Anuradhapura
Pros:

Le site dans la nature, au calme. La terrasse pour le dîner et le bon petit déjeuner, l’accueil du personnel. Chambre confortable avec frigo.

Cons:

Une bouilloire dans la chambre serait appréciable.

Pros:

Das London Palace ist ein wunderschön gelegenes Hotel mit grossen, schönen Zimmern, tollen Balkonen und einem unglaublich netten Hotelmanager, der von A-Z alles für seine Gäste organisiert. Das Frühstück, der Snack zwischendurch und das Abendessen waren frisch zubereitet und hervorragend im Geschmack. Eine wirklich tolle Adresse in Anuradhapura.

I loved the birds that you could hear around singing all the time
Pros:

Tha staff was extremely friendly (SUDAT!)and took care of all my needs, they booked a tuk-tuk for the the day in the archeological sight and also a car for a transfer/excursion.
Contrarily to what everybody thinks the prices are correct and the same you find on PICKME.
Rooms are nice and comfortable with balconies on the green I also had dinner there because I was too tired to go outside and it was more than decent.

Accueil super amical! Notre hôte a été très disponible et efficace pour nous trouver chauffeur et guide. Chambre et petit dejeuner corrects. Nous retiendrons surtout la très grande gentillesse de la personne qui s'est occupé de nous.

Pros:

Sudath nous a très bien accueilli et a été très arrangeant.
L’hôtel est bien placé dans la ville.
La chambre est simple mais efficace, avec un adaptateur pour prise.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner était un peu décevant, et il y avait que très peau d’eau tiède dans la douche. La chambre est aussi assez bruyante.

Gute Atmo. Solide.
Pros:

Die Lage war prima. Viel Natur drumherum und trotzdem nah an der Stadt. Das Personal total freundlich.

Cons:

Das Mobiliar ist zum Teil sehr mitgenommen und sollte ersetzt werden. Genauso das Bad.
