Helpful staff
Pros:

My son stayed at this hotel with his school. I wanted to send a thank you gift to some chaperones and I contacted the hotel. I spoke to Roxanna and she walked me through how I could send something to the chaperones and then went out of her way to reach out to me to let me know that my delivery had been put in their rooms without me asking. It was very nice of her and she was friendly and pleasant to work with.

Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff. Room and hotel clean and pleasant. Breakfast was super busy but offered good options, having the expected scrambled eggs and sausage and waffles, but also having some mini scones with the bread. The helpful front desk staff member was great about offering information that all the restaurants we could walk to from the hotel were good choices for dinner. We didn't want to get back in the car after the long drive, and the building next door had two restaurants. We ended up at The Casual Pint which had good sandwiches and a bunch of different craft beers.
The hotel also later sent me a text to ask how the stay was going. This was super. I asked for some advice on the best way for us to get to the National Mall to see the sights, and I was told "a team member will be with you shortly." Hotel staff member Rosana was fantastic about answering my questions. She advised the closest metro station was East Falls Church and that we could take the metro to the Smithsonian stop. She helped make our stay in the DC area a really good one. Thank you!!

Cons:

All was great except the beds were too soft for us and caused some back pain. Additionally the bed linens were too warm to allow us a good night's sleep. We turned down the AC to make the room cooler, but we were either roasting under the blanket or chilly using just the sheet, so none of us slept well. We use natural fiber light cotton or wool or light-fill down blankets at home, and we missed them during this trip.

The pool was not open again . On the web page it said it was open. Talked to staff they told me it has been closed since Oct 2025.

We loved it!
Pros:

Very good location, friendly staff, breakfast was great and rooms are very clean and well maintained. Specially Stephanie from kitchen staff supported our daughter to get her favourite yogurt 😁

Cons:

Swim pool was not operational.

The location is good, easy to get to the areas that we like

Cons:

We stayed there a couple times but this time is not as good as usual. We booked a double queen size beds room hoping will bigger space than our previous single bed room but no, the bathroom is half the size of the single room. Also, bathroom wasn’t cleaned well, I saw some “disgusting dark/brown spots/ residues on the wall next to the toilet. The shower was kinda older than the room we had last time, with shower curtain instead of glass door. The TV wasn’t working, the fridge was on but not cold… This was our first time we took our baby on vacation and was planning for her to experience the pool for the 1st time but the pool was out. The whole experience was very disappointed.

I like the room. It’s clean. But I don’t like their food. I asked once for a new waffle because it’s so hard but the lady told me No. I have to get the one was already serve and warm it. Even I warm it still hard. So I just go.

Nice clean and convenient accommodations.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good. They started on time. The parking was easy. Though there was an extra cost for parking I was not expecting. Staff was personable and professional. Will stay there in future.

Cons:

Having to pay for parking. Although I thought hotel fee was not outrageous, it was still high and I thought parking was included. I've stayed there before and parking was included. Ice machine on my floor was out of order. Although working on other floors and worked well.
