Vraiment extraordinaire!
Pros:

Emplacement bien sûr exceptionnel. L’arrivée se fait en plusieurs étapes ( parking couvert puis une succession de funiculaires de plus en plus vertigineux!). Et la qualité de l’accueil, des chambres (amples, confortables, belles et tellement calmes), du petit déjeuner comme du déjeuner du lendemain midi confirme qu’on ne pouvait faire meilleur choix!
Le but était d’admirer le tableau du Caravage exposé encore qqs jours dans cadre d’un grand musée occupant d’autres étages de ce fort avec entre autres un musée des Alpes. Tout cela donc à qqs pas de l’hôtel!!!

Very Interesting Must See / Stay Location
Pros:

We have driven past this fortress so many times on our travels between Switzerland and Italy that once we found out we could actually stay there, we did. It was a very cool experience. We are always amazed to see what humans were able to build without modern day technology and try to imagine how they lived their lives. Parking is free if you stay at the hotel. There are multiple activities you can book including three museums onsite. From the top level of the parking garage, there are four funiculars/elevators that you take up to the top level where the hotel / B&B is located. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and good variety. Staff were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Would definitely recommend.

Notte nel silenzio
Pros:

Soggiornare all'interno del forte di Bard è una esperienza molto piacevole per il contesto della soluzione offerta. Staff efficiente e gentile. Unica restrizione è l'orario del check in e la mancanza di un ristorante per la cena, ma si può scendere al borgo di Bard con l'opportunità di fare una bella passeggiata serale. Ottima la colazione.

'emplacement

Cons:

Pas de bouteille d'eau dans le frigo... Restaurant fermé dans le village.. L'équipe de l'hôtel l'ignorait.... Tous seuls à l'hôtel avec un gardien qui nous prévient qu'à 23 h il dort.. Petit déjeuner différent le premier matin quand on était seul.. Le lendemain matin il y avait plus de choses à ce buffet minuscule... Parking non privé contrairement à ce qu'on nous avait dit....
