The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

I booked two rooms: one Family Room and one Standard Room. During check-in, the reception assigned us two Family Rooms on the same floor, which matched my request when I booked to have all rooms on the same floor. I even reconfirmed this at the counter during check-in.

However, after I had unpacked all my belongings, changed my baby’s clothes and diapers, the reception suddenly called the other room to inform us that there was a mistake and that I needed to move to a Standard Room instead.

I was extremely frustrated because I had to repack everything again and move rooms by myself, without any assistance from the staff. Not even one person offered to help. Not even a trolley. Nothing.

When I went to the lobby, the staff only said “sorry” and that was it. No apology from management, no compensation, no responsibility taken. I asked to speak to a manager, but they said management was not on duty.

And that was only the first problem.

The new room was even worse:

- The sliding door couldn’t close properly. This is a serious safety issue and very worrying especially with a baby.
- The aircond control was placed in a strange, hard-to-see location. I had to search for it.
- The mattress was old and uncomfortable — I could literally feel the springs.
- No toothbrush or toothpaste provided. Please bring your own if you plan to stay here.

Overall, this hotel seriously needs:

- Better staff training
- Proper guest handling
- Room maintenance and safety improvements
- Basic amenities
- And better communication

I do not recommend staying here. This was stressful, uncomfortable, and definitely not worth the money.

I booked NEO HOTEL, but upon arrival, the staff informed me that the rooms were fully occupied. They then arranged a replacement room for me at Hotel Merlin, approximately 150 meters away.

The condition of the room at Hotel Merlin was terrible and looked very old. When I arrived, the staff at Hotel Merlin shook their heads and assigned me a room that felt “off”, and they laughed among themselves.

Upon entering the room, I noticed the bed was worn out and had metal protrusions. The sink and toilet were also clogged. I kindly request that appropriate action be taken to the clogged issue. However, staff just came but not settled issue.

The room floor is wet..not sure from where..call the room service but just see only..air conditioning is not cool enough

All is good.
