Excellent breakfast with really good choices. Nice dining room. Friendly and homely
One evening we had our meal in the small bar area. The table was so close to the bar that when people were standing ordering drinks & chatting they were exceptionally close to our table not great if you are trying to enjoy your meal.
The hotel is beautiful. The staff were helpful and courteous. The dining experience great.
Our only concern was the tiny bathroom in our room. It was very cramped. I understand that it is structural concern but it was very snug as was the bedroom. However we would readily recommend the hotel and would return. Thank you

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Had dinner in the hotel on our first night and it was delicious! All staff were very nice. Had a lovely couple of nights here.
The lights in the bedroom were really dim. I'm at an age now where I need a decent light!! The pillows had seen better days but I'm sure we could have had different ones if we had asked.

We stayed at this hotel for a relaxing night away. The hotel itself is lovely. The bar area is nice and the breakfast was good. We were allocated room 4 - it’s a nice room but it is right next to the kitchen roof - 6am the fan comes on and it’s very loud. I was woken up by it so I raised it with reception when we checked out - the receptionist did not apologise but did say “yes that noise comes from the kitchen fan” … at £190 a night it’s simply not acceptable!
