Stunning room
Pros:

We stayed in one of the lodges. The room was lovely decorated and very clean. I liked there was a small porch area for shoes etc. Had a great sleep . Bed was comfortable and was surprised with how quiet it was considering a wedding was on in the main house .

a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay, near golf and beach
Pros:

We had a very quiet, spacious and comfortable room, very near Troon's golf course, and we particularly enjoyed the characterful spaces in the main building, where meals (including breakfast) are served. Breakfast was very good.

Cons:

We have enjoyed staying at the Piersland several times and really have no complaints! We enjoy the location and the comfort and service are excellent.

A brilliant stay with a couple of niggles.
Pros:

We had a mews room which was a really great size and we loved the separate lounge area and TV in both the bedroom and lounge. The room was beautifully clean too which is very important. Nice choice of drinks in the room, nice biscuits and bottles of water. Also umbrellas provided which was a nice touch. The garden borders outside the room were also well kept and pretty.

Cons:

The floors in the room are extremely creaky except in the bathroom which was a lovely stone floor. It meant that if we had to get up in the night, we disturbed the other person. These look like newish rooms so not sure why more wasn’t done to secure the floor. For us at least, the mattress was also very uncomfortable after a couple of nights sleeping on it. It seemed comfy to begin with but got worse. Perhaps some pictures would also have brought the room to life a bit too.
