Trump Macleod House & Lodge

Amazing property, with staff that go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is fantastic. This was our favourite hotel during our stay in Scotland and we would highly recommend it!

The staff was very professional, kind, helpful.

I am not a Trump supporter, but I have to admit the property is very clean, luxurious, upscale with great staff. They even found my lost gold ring!

The marble bathroom was very luxurious.

Stunning small hotel, amazing service and attention.

Dinner in the hotel was amazing as was the food in the Clubhouse.

We feel as though we are somehow doing Trump MacLeod House some sort of disservice by calling it a Hotel as from arrival we never felt that we were staying in a Hotel. It felt more as though we were guests in a Baronial home.

The standard of service, food and accommodation was exceptional.
The entire Staff made us feel at home from the moment of arrival. The quality of finish and standard of housekeeping was second to none. A very peaceful and relaxing stay. 5 stars all the way!

We had a fabulous stay at MacLeod house.
The house is situated on the Trump estate, the estate is very well maintained, it’s very peaceful with beautiful scenery.
The hotel itself shouts luxury from the moment you step through the front door. Spotlessly clean, really friendly, helpful staff and the suite we stayed in was super comfy.
Breakfast the following morning was excellent..
This hotel deserves its 5 *. We would certainly stay here again.

Trumps hotels are some of the best in the world. This one is excellent as well. And the value for money can’t be beat!

Perfect accommodation for size, quality and location. Could have done with a usb point for phone charging though!

Great location and Macleod House really very comfortable to stay in. We intend to return for another stay in the near future.

Beautiful, luxurious. Decent scotch bar, expected larger selection. Food selection at Dunes disappointing. Overall lovely stay, staff accommodating, stunning property.

L'endroit est magnifique, hotel et environs. tout est conforme à ce qu'on attend d'un grand hotel: chambres, service attentionné, très bonne cuisine, etc. Nous n'avons pas utilisé le golf mais il semblait parfait. En revanche nous avons utilisé la plage voisine de Balmenie, qui est splendie. Seul regret, de devoir quitter cet endroit.

The room was good-looking and very comfortable. The bathroom was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in that week, and included heated floors. Service was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are lovely - they have black Highland cattle and deer and of course the beautiful golf course, which we walked out to for the views. My only suggestion is to make the rooms a bit brighter - there isn't enough lighting, and given my room's location (we were in the lodge, which is all first floor), I couldn't pull back the curtains while I was getting ready. It's a very relaxing, upscale stay. I could easily just hang out there a few days.

Fantastic

The restoration of the castle to the majesty of one of the worlds greatest newer golf courses is impecable. The staff were some of the finest I have ever experienced in the world.

If you are playing Trump International this is a must stay. It is a 1st Class Erperience.

Absolutely breathtaking coming around the corner and seeing the HUGE Scottish flag. The House itself is lovely the restuarant is on the main floor. The food is not country house, maybe in downtown Chicago but interesting . Our kids are vegetarians so a lot of mushrooms for them.
Our rooms were in the lodges, the former stables. Stunning , beautiful lush furnishings, fabrics, lamps. The beds were divine.
The club house had better food but slower service. Beautiful views of the sand dunes.
