The room was bare minimum possible. That's fine because it's a budget place I don't mind that. The younger couple that works there were great very friendly accommodating awesome people. After a 6-day stay and checking out at 10:00 a.m. I just got a call at 10:00 p.m. with some drunken old lady dropping the f-bomb on me telling me my dog destroyed their curtains. That's absolutely insane. He doesn't do it He's never done that he simply not inclined. If he destroys anything he likes to chew on wood legs of furniture. Anyway this raging alcoholic old hag yelling at me and dropping the f-bomb said I owed her money and when I told her she's insane she said she's going to have me blacklisted from every hotel in the state. I'm still laughing. Apparently the damage was simply a few threads that were unraveled from the curtains. I can assure you with my dog was going to go after curtains he wouldn't just unravel a few threads he would rip them off of the rod and thrash them around and he would do that to all of the curtains in the room. But apparently a few threads were loose from one set of curtains. Also and I wasn't going to complain about this the room had two queen beds but only one had a comforter on it with two pillows and the other bed had no comforter and only one pillow. Honestly wanted to give these guys a good review because the younger couple we're so absolutely friendly and hospitable until this rude lady called me 12 hours after I moved out with this BS.

I'm now 70 years old and have been going past this place for decades. Last year I decided to stay here because it was always full when I came to Wisconsin for races at Road America so I figured it was a good place to stay. It has very clean rooms and the staff is friendly, the property however has been in need of a face lift for many years. They have security cameras for the entire parking lot but the room doors only have a lock on the door handle, I was uncomfortable with that even though there seemed little chance of trouble. I've now stayed there twice and will likely stay again when I come back for the same races at this time next year.

The woman at the front desk was extremely nice and it was quick & easy to get checked into our room

I have stayed at this motel numerous times, and each time it is a step lower. This time I was in the apartment in the back. The shower did not drain, after a shower I was standing in 4 inches of dirty water. The staff said the dirt that was at the bottom of the tub was just hard water, it definitely was not. The sink had the same problem, after brushing my teeth, which does not take a lot of water, the sink had water standing in it. I could not change hotels because it was a big weekend up there and no hotels nearby had any rooms at a reasonable price. Thank god it was cool weekend also, they only had a single window AC, and it was in the bathroom. Fans were supposed to move the air around. I will never be going back here again. It used to be a nice place, they need to pick it up a little on the maintenance though.

Can not judgedthe room.. I never made it that far. Book the room sept 2024. The decided to cancel it in April 2025. They didn’t tell me until I got there on August 1 2025. Was going to road America. Which is almost 2 hours from my house… the worst part is the persons didn’t even credit my card back.. fighting it with credit card company now. Very bad business…

Great budget property, I felt safe traveling alone here too

It is exactly as advertised. It was a good stay, customer service was great.

Said our room was canceled but not by use on their end only . Did report it to you on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Great motel, low frills with great rates

The room was very clean and inviting to stay in. The room was very affordable. There wasn't a lot of extra perks but we weren't looking for that. Just a nice room to stay in while visiting an airshow. And they definitely delivered. I also greatly appreciated the ability to log into streaming TV. Most places we stay just have live television. That was definitely a plus.

This property cancelled our reservations without notification and would not come to the door, talked through a ring doorbell. Didn't seem to care we had this reserved for over 6 months or that we traveled 15 hours to get there with no place to stay. Would NEVER recommend based on their attitudes about this whole thing.

The staff was truly amazing very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. Unfortunately, the room itself was far from satisfactory. Towels were stained and appeared dirty, and even after being switched to what was considered their best room, the couch was in such poor condition I was hesitant to sit on it.

While the location felt safe, it’s extremely remote. Getting a cab or even ordering food was nearly impossible, which made the stay very inconvenient. I wouldn’t return primarily due to the location, but the cleanliness of the room was also a major concern.

I've booked this hotel in march and when I went to check in, they told me that a cancellation had been done on on april third

Besides the slow check in, they had to bring towels to the room, no cups or coffee pot. The worst part ..there was a fireworks stand in parking lot and from the time we checked in until at least 10 p.m. Periodic fireworks going off. D
Some very loud, others long screaming noises and flashes seem through the curtains. If we hadn't booked with online service, we would have cancelled the reservation. Plus loud, garish music blaring from the stand!!!

I arrived only to find out my reservation had been cancelled. Had I prepaid I would have still had a reservation. Upon my request they did assist me with locating another hotel with a vacancy.

Nice cozy place

Nice quiet property just 20 minutes south of road America. Clean, friendly staff, easy parking, reasonably priced.
