Comfort Suites Rensselaer near Fair Oaks

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Noisy hallways and uncomfortable pillows made me not give it 5 stars.

Went to this hotel as part of a wedding party. Our bed had bugs and the room smelled like dogs. We stayed 15 minutes and left. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Rooms were spotless. Staff was very accommodating. We needed a luggage cart on Saturday night, September 13th, and she found it via camera and offered to go and get it. I grabbed it but it was incredibly nice of her to offer. I’m sorry, but I didn’t get the name, but with the parameters I’m sure you can thank her/recognize her. The lady in charge of breakfast was also extremely diligent ensuring the breakfast bar was stocked!

The room smelled very strongly of carpet cleaner. When I went to tell the front desk my roommate took a shower. I was told if we had "already used the room" that we wouldn't be able to change rooms. The smell permeated all weekend and it was horrible to be in the room. I have stayed here for the same weekend for the last 5 years and never had this experience. Very disappointing. Also breakfast has gone downhill. Might stay at the Holiday Inn Express next year.

The internet service was not good and the room we stayed in had carpet coming up and both of us had stepped on a carpet nail. The bed was not comfprtable

We stayed here since all of the properties near Purdue were booked for graduation weekend. The hotel was clean and very reasonably priced. There were couple decent restaurants near by. Overall glad we stayed here.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel itself is very nice. Common areas appear to be clean. However, the service was horrible. Since the hotel requires you to put in a request for room service, I called the front desk the first night for service for our remaining time there. Apparently no one had put our request on schedule, room service never came. When I called reception to ask if someone can come and empty the trash cans, the lady said with a bad attitude "I'm here by myself." I then asked "So you can't come up and do it?" She said "No, I can't! Just leave your trash outside of your door." I then asked if she had trash bags, she said "I can't take it up to you, you can come down and get it if you want." I couldn't go downstairs since I was with sleeping kids by myself, I did what was instructed by the receptionist. I emptied all the trash cans and put the bags in the hallway outside our door, thinking someone would pick up the trash in the next few hours. The trash was not picked up for 2 days. Other guests started to pile their trash on top of ours. It became pretty gross. Anyway, it's a good place to stay if you don't need a lot of interactions with the hotel staff.

Easy to get to from the interstate and dining options are across the street.

Great stay for the price! We like the extra space in the rooms with a couch. Would like to stay at more of these Comfort Suites in the future!

Almost every light bulb was partially burnt out (only low levels worked), the light in the bathroom was missing one sconce, random brown pair splattered on the walls. The room was in poor shape, but as a single woman traveling alone I felt safe here.
