A good business hotel close to Hakata Station, with one of the best showers
Pros:

In some ways this was a standard business hotel, but it did have some excellent features that made it somewhat better than average. One was the excellent shower, one of the best I have had in Japan. It was totally enclosed so no water all over the floor and it did help that there were clear instructions in English about how to use the various parts. Another was that the hotel was a three-minute walk from Hakata Station. I also liked the abundance of western pillows and the free washing machines.

Cons:

It would have been good if there was an onsen, though the shower almost made up for not having one.
