Charming and cozy place with amazing staff
Pros:

Very good location, close to the main square. Breakfast on the rooftop with beautiful view and very tasty food with fruits. Staff is amazing, very nice and helpful.

Great location & service!
Pros:

Excellent staff! Thank you Yale and the rest of the workers for such great hospitality and for helping us in every way. From breakfast to advice, top service. The location was safe and excellent and close to the plaza.

Cons:

Just the noise between the floors when other guests walked but its an old building.

Perfect location for touring Quito
Pros:

This is an authentic hotel just steps from the main area of old Quito. Very good place to stay. We were served a lovely breakfast and had a very comfortable room

We loved everything about this hotel, in particular: the location and how comfortable and clean the room/bathroom was. The staff helped us carry our suitcases up several flights of stairs as the building dates from 1748, so no elevator, but the stairs are a nice workout. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. The staff very nicely stored our bags for a few hours, so we could continue exploring the city after we checked out. We particular enjoyed chatting with Yale, who was very helpful and personal, and gave us a lunch restaurant recommendation, and whose English is excellent!

Pros:

We loved the charming feeling and the authentic decor of the hotel. The rooftop breakfast room is an absolute gem. The location is excellent, minutes to the historic downtown. The room was super spacious and well decorated.

Cons:

We missed a night table for one of our beds and had very little space for hanging clothes.

Wir wurden per Namensschild vom Airport abgeholt vom Hotel organisiert - Zimmer sehr geräumig sauber Betten bequem - Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit - sehr zentral gelegen und alles zu Fuss zu erreichen - sichere Umgebung - bei all unseren get-your-guide Touren wurden wir direkt vom Hotel abgeholt - Frühstück war lecker - alles in allem war perfekt und wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt

Great place to stay in Quito
Pros:

Breakfast is great. It is served on the top floor and it has a wonderful view of the Winged Virgin statue. There is also a lovely restaurant for dinner at the corner. They also have a lounge where you can sit and chat.

Cons:

The rooms can be a bit noisy when people walk by as the floors are wooden but it was fine
