Fantastic Quito experience!
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast (although vegetarian) which changed every day, the day venture they arranged to Otavalo-USD 150 was good value for money with great driver,and the great view of the city! Thank you Yale, Joel and Henry!!!

Cons:

We must say that while our room was excellent, being on the top floor meant we had to battle the altitude dizziness whenever we climbed up to our room. But coca tea helped 😝

Lovely place to stay!
Pros:

Lovely old colonial building, beautiful view from the rooftop, nice breakfasts, and friendly, helpful staff. Just a short walk to the highlights of Old Town.

Welcoming and beautiful stay with a gracious host!
Pros:

The host, Franco! He got up early to help us on days that we had early flights or tours scheduled. The grounds are beautiful and our suite (Verde), was immaculate! Comfortable beds, nice bath robes and a fridge and microwave… what more could you ask for? We purchased some of the art on display and Franco helped us with packing materials. He also provided several recommendations for dining. Can’t forget the coffee…Franco makes the *best* coffee drinks to order!

Cons:

Nothing! It’s just beautiful and has a gracious host.

Great location. Great staff. Apartment not as advertised
Pros:


The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were clean, there was plenty of hot water and the breakfasts were delicious.

Cons:


The photographs are not accurate. My friend and I booked one of the apartments primarily so that we could have somewhere to sit and talk in the evening. The apartment had three bedrooms as advertised, but unlike the bedrooms in the photographs, only one had an (small) exterior window, the rest only had windows into the internal light well. In addition, although there was a sink, a fridge and a microwave, the dining area was really a corridor around the interior light well linking the three rooms. As a result, there was barely room for even two people to sit and we were not comfortable talking there in the evening as the noise would carry and disturbed the other rooms that looked into the light well. Apparently the photograph showing a little table in the dining area was in the other apartment.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It is centrally located, the room rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful.
Pros:

The staff is so friendly and helpful in arranging transport from the airport as well as calling taxis when needed. The room is very clean and has all the amenities needed. The beds are comfortable as well with plenty of pillows. The location is prime and walkable to all the historic downtown attractions.

Highly recommend this all-around great place.
Pros:

Super convenient central location, Yale (the manager) and the whole stuff are very nice and helpful. Amazing breakfast fresh individually prepared and beautifully served when you come. Breakfast room is on the roof top with a gorgeous view.
