A very pleasant breakfast. You get hot water and tea so everyone can prepare their own tea at the table. They also offer coffee and milk.
You are always served two plates: one sweet plate, with items such as pancakes and a fruit platter, and another savory plate with a carbohydrate such as potatoes or bread, together with eggs.
Staff is mega friendly and helpful. Location is top, right in city center, but safe! Breakfast is awesome- eggs & pancakes with a great view to Virgin of the Panecillo! TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

The location in the old town is excellent. Mo need to uber in - it’s on your doorstep. And the old town feels pretty safe and pleasant to walk around.
Our initial welcome was unwelcome and unfriendly. The receptionist’s English wasn’t great but if he was friendly and wanted to make us feel comfortable that would not have mattered. When Yale came on though the next morning she was wonderful and so helpful in a number of ways. Yale cheered me up about staying there for the next few days. Thank you Yale! My biggest complaint is that the rooms we paid for are not what we received. They said on bookings the rooms were soundproofed. As our room fronted onto the internal courtyard with a bedroom window that couldn’t close, I had a lot of noise coming in throughout the night. It was like an echo chamber unfortunately. We were also told the room had a washing machine but it doesn’t, so we had to pay US $44 to get our washing done. People like me will feel kinder in their reviews if these ‘promises’ are removed from the property details. I’m not sure if there are better places to stay in the old town but I wouldn’t have chosen this one if I’d known these things.
Wonderful stay. Very conveniently located at the edge of the central UNESCO old city. Accommodating and personable. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant fresh, abundant, and delicious accompanied by a truly beautiful panoramic wrap around view. Special thanks to Mariano.
