Amazing castle on a hill in the Italian countryside

This is literally a castle on a hill surrounded by glorious Umbrian hills. The photos don’t do it justice. Amazing experience! Climbed up the tower to be king of the castle :)

Sehr großzügige Unterkunft, etwas in die Jahre gekommen - kann man auch auf den Fotos erkennen. Sehr schöne Gartenanlage

Cons:

-Matratze im Schlafzimmer zwar gut aber einfach auf eine alte unschöne Matratze neue daraufgelegt - siehe schmuddelig aus
- Pool wurde 1 Tag nach unserer Ankunft ausgelassen, hatten extra mit Pool gebucht- war in den Richtlinien nicht kommuniziert dass der Pool ab 16.09 d. Jahres nicht mehr zur Verfügung steht

L’appartamento di casa fumata pessimo. Sporco, malsano ( odore di muffa) ragnatele , lucertole in casa e persino uno scorpione tra le lenzuola. ( documentabile)
Scarico del bagno perennemente rumoroso.

Un tuffo nel Medioevo con il calore di casa

Abbiamo soggiornato al Castello di Giomici per due notti e l'esperienza è stata semplicemente magica. Non è solo un pernottamento, ma un vero e proprio viaggio nel tempo nel cuore dell'Umbria.

Il Castello e la Location
Il castello è conservato divinamente: varcare la soglia significa immergersi in un'atmosfera d'altri tempi, fatta di mura imponenti e fascino autentico. La posizione è strategica e panoramica: immerso nel silenzio delle colline, offre una vista spettacolare che regala un senso di pace assoluta. È il luogo ideale per chi cerca stacco totale dal caos quotidiano, pur rimanendo vicino a perle come Spello, Perugia e Gubbio.

L'Accoglienza e il Personale
Il vero valore aggiunto di Giomici, però, è il suo personale. Raramente capita di trovare una dedizione e una gentilezza simili. Siamo stati accolti con un calore raro: lo staff è professionale, sempre disponibile e attento a ogni minimo dettaglio, facendoci sentire non come semplici clienti, ma come ospiti d'onore. La loro passione per questo luogo traspare da ogni gesto e consiglio, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più speciale.
