I was introduced to Diamond Suite by my friends and today I experienced exactly what I had heard. The room is neat and the receptionist is very much supportive to a foreigner like me. I was introduced to the food specialties and an special pink church near the hotel.

Good hotel good location and good experience, nice staff and service.

The hotel location is not so bad but We have faced a bad experience with the hotel as it had a bad smell each and every time we entered the room after a day trip because its power was off when the room key taken off power switch. Doormen were very polite. Breakfast was so limited with taste was so so.

Really, really great value for the money at Diamond Suite Hai Ba Trung. This was my last hotel during a three week trip to Vietnam. I chose this hotel because of it's location to the airport but also because it's pretty close to the heart of Ho Chi Minh City if I wanted to venture out on my last night. You get a LOT of space for the money (a studio apartment basically) and it seems to have been updated recently. As for the free breakfast included, it's definitely a nice touch. Even though food in Vietnam is extremely affordable, the convenience of waking up and having a simple breakfast at the hotel and a Vietnamese coffee goes a long way to get the day started.

The location itself, there's really nothing special around but only takes a 5 minute walk to start getting towards the center of town. Again, you're really paying for a place to wind down during a trip and it's proximity to the airport (you avoid the traffic near the Ben Thanh area).

Next time I'm in town I will definitely be staying here again towards the end of my trip.

While hardware reminds very good and room is very spacious, the software is below standard. No doubt the staff attitudes are good, half of them service level is below average. It seems this hotel management not dare to train the staff with standard operation procedures.

At first I felt good at welcome drink, nice staffs. The hotel isn't really new but clean, good smell, silence. If you're going to HCM city, you should be there.

Large room, good cleanliness, friendly staffs, overall OK

The Hotel takes a bit from the main street so that it is quite. The room is nice and useful design. It is just a few steps to go out the downtown with many types of restaurants. the hotel's location is conveniences to go airport and city centre as well.

I arrived to this hotel with mu husband. Spent there just a few days, but was very disappointed with everything! There was just one person speaking English and obviously we met him just twice. All other guys did not speak English - when we arrived to the hotel to check in we just got card to our room, guy working in the hotel called the lift for us, so we thought that he was going to show us our room, but he gave us the card to our room and left downstairs - even did not tell us to what floor we should go!
Breakfast was very limited as well..we had to fill up the form and choose whether we wanted to have american or vietnamese breakfast, what type or coffee etc. Even if you choose juice and coffee you never get them both! When I asked to get my coffee as requested on form I had to keep asking them and obviously no one understood me! I have never got the right thing! So what is the point of using the forms then?! Even one guy from reception did not understand what "coffee" means...obviously no dessert, nothing...very poor..
On check out day we had to pay for drinks from minibar, but what kind of mini bar?? there wasn't any!! there was just water which we have been told that is included, there was no information that we had to pay for that!! Very disappointed again!!!
Hotel clean but very bad..would never give 3 stars..

Service is excellent. Room condition is very good, small kitchen for instant needle if you wish.

Not bad, spacious room, very clean, very friendly staff but the mattress is far too hard for us - it's like a concrete. Shops and restaurants are just at the door step because this hotel is in business city district.

Very good location, room need to be upgrade, quite old and dark.

The apartments are modern and in a good area in D10, only 20K moto to city, it is a good alternative to hotel rooms with more space. If you are in HCM for a few days and sick of hotels this is a good price alternative.

This is a nicest place out of all the 3 star hotels I've stayed in. The price is normal as other hotels, but thanks to Expedia discount I was able to stay there for coupl nice.

Very pleasant apartment close to a number of attractions. Amie, the receptionist was lovely, very helpful and always pleasant. The room was large with a kitchen and a comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

Its a good choice for one's who know the area (Hai Ba Trung) well and for first timers just keep in mind that this place is approx. 3 - 4 miles from D1.

Noisy n pervasively smells of paints. actually locates inside a small alley n not on the main front street.

It was great to stay at Diamond Suite safe and sound staff very friendly will be back again for next visit. Small price with large room very comfortable with air-con through out
