Location is great, closer to HoanKiem lake, restaurants, Cafe, and many more.... room is clean and quiet, breakfast is excellent, and most of all is the friendly staff. Kim, Tracy, and Lucus are the friendliest and helpful receptionists I had ever experienced. especially Tracy, she took us to a pharmacy and explained to the pharmacist our symptoms to get medicine to cure our sickness. Her kindness and service are beyond words. We would definitely stay at Emeral Waters Hotel & Spa in the future and recommend it to friends and family.

Ultimate location in Hanoi's Old Quarter close to Hoan Kiem Lake, fabulous in every way (including a marvelous breakfast buffet), and the sweetest staff you'll ever meet.

This is value for money accommodations right in the heart of the Old Quarter. It’s walking distance to lots of attractions and great food. And their staff are really the best!!

Lovely two day stay at this hotel situated very close to the old town near the lake but not so close that it’s too noisy. Staff are really attentive. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The prices are incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality of service provided. The staff are truly heartwarming, and I’d like to give a special shoutout to Kim at the front desk. She was always helpful, caring, and greeted everyone with a warm smile, making my stay even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to my friends. If you're looking for a great hotel experience without breaking the bank, this is the perfect choice!

Very convenient location in Old Quarter and Kim, the hotel manager, was super kind and arranged tours that were special. Pretty good breakfast too.

The location is great. Walking distance from old town. The room was great, modern and quiet. The breakfast (brunch) buffet had many different choices of good food. The front desk staff were very attentive and polite.

Just finished a 15 days tour of Vietnam. Stayed at 8 different hotels but I have to say that the staff at the Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel & Spa provided the best service, especially Luca.

The hotel itself is nice with some minor flaws but the A+ staff makes up for it. The hotel is also perfectly located.

This hotel was surprisingly very nice. Extremely clean, very friendly, helpful staff. Eddie and Tracy at reception were superb. Every single staff member tried to accommodate us the best they could. I would stay there again. Also it is perfectly located in the old quarter and close to everything.

What an amazing staff! The room and location are nice, but the staff sets this place apart. They were so helpful and welcoming throughout our entire stay. Jennie was our online concierge and she helped us prepare for the trip and handled bookings for us. Our breakfast was included and I enjoyed their pho and coffee each morning. We were given a %50 discount to their spa since we booked our ha long bay tour through them and our massages were amazing!

The Hanoi Emerald Waters staff went above and beyond to make my friend and I feel at home during our trip to Vietnam. Special shoutout to Eddie and Anna for making sure we had the best possible time giving recommendations, storing luggage, etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know headed to Hanoi!

This is a great, inexpensive option. Great location. Staff was great and very helpful and attentive. Their buffet breakfast was top notch and on par with more expensive properties we stayed at in Hanoi.

We stayed at the hotel on four different occasions over a month period, using the hotel as a base for our luggage for trips to Ha Long Bay, Sapa, Ha Giang, Ninh Binh.
We highly recommend the hotel; the staff are truly wonderful and can not do enough for you. The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel does need a little bit of decoration repair, but it certainly doesn’t impact your stay and the warmth of the hotel staff more than makes up for it.

Staying at the Emerald Waters Hotel was a wonderful experience. We felt very well looked after. Kim took such good care of us and helped with bookings and transfers to Halong bay and Ninh Binh.
The breakfast was tasty and wholesome and in general the attention to detail was quite remarkable.
All members of the team at the front desk were super kind and helpful, but Kim was especially good at guiding us at every step.
The great location of the hotel certainly helped and we felt that we were at the heart of all the action.
Morning walks to the lake were nice and there were a number of great dining options at walking distance.

Hotel in great location, easy access to all local sights, restaurants and shops. I was given an upgrade and the room was of 5-star standard. Room service was prompt. As a vegan, all my needs were met at breakfast and a special mention for Ms In.

All the staff at the front desk were hugely helpful and courteous, again a special mention for Claire, who checked me in, providing all the details with immense patience and as well showed concern and checked on me during the stay as I was not keeping well.

If I find myself again in this beautiful city with nice people, I certainly will book here with eyes closed as the hotel is indeed value for money !

Located in the Old District, very near all attractions such as Ho Kiem Lake; small restaurants and coffee shops nearby (cafe giang about 2-3 minutes walk away). Beside the hotel was a travel
Agency to book all your needs (travel agencies also offer exchange rate but be mindful of the rates; the last time i was there the rate was usd1 to 26000vdg). Shopping were just a block or two away.
Staffs were friendly and will make ways to help you.
Inside the hotel was the best message salon that offered 35% off during our stay.
Room was huge (esp for 2) with 2 double beds (twin) with big bathroom. Amenities were all included as well.
Overall, a great hotel in a magical city of Hanoi.

Okay overall but is a little run down. We stayed in two different rooms, one smelled like cigarette smoke and neither had a shower that drained properly. Employees were very friendly. Breakfast was decent but not exceptional.

Stated 5 nights. The staff were professional, kind, engaging, respectful, spoke excellent English, knowledgeable, helpful and made every effort to ensure a pleasurable experience. Room was clean and safe. Buffet Breakfast was adequate. I would stay here again
