Zakos Court Apartments

How bn many times are you going to badger me for a review. I’ve already told you…after booking and paying Expedia, the rude property manager told me the place was not available and couldn’t be bothered to help with alternatives…told me to just get a refund. Which I requested 3 days ago but have yet to hear anything. Please stop wasting my time and process my refund.

We booked the place for one night because was close to the airport and we had a flight very early in the morning. We could barely sleep the night because the people across the hall in the floor the whole night were playing very loud music.
The place didn't have toilet paper nor soap. No wifi existed, even though was in the description of the room. One of the balcony doors was also broken. The place had clean sheets and the guy came on time to deliver the keys of the room.

Ужасная ночлежка с тараканами и неработающим кондиционером в гостиной. Кондиционеры в спальнях работают ‘условно’: один течёт, и температура в обоих никак не регулируется.Пульты разваливаются и не работают. Нехватка постельного белья- на четверых две простыни (хорошо, что были свои на всякий случай). Нет свч, чайник - один на две квартиры. Дверные ручки отваливаются, сантехника убитая : раковина засорена, а чтобы принять душ пришлось ногой держать переключатель на смесителе! Очень ‘удобно ‘ мыться , стоя на одной ноге. Непонятно, зачем нужно содержать нормальную, в общем-то квартиру в таком убитом состоянии. Хотелось побыстрее покинуть это место и никогда о нем не вспоминать. P.S.Единственная относительно новая вещь в квартире - это стиральная машинка (чтобы стирать белье после постояльцев). Нам она не пригодилась ( останавливались на 1 ночь)

Zakos Court rents out apartments in at least 2 different buildings. They are located in the Skala district, about 1.5 km away from the Finikoudes Beach (which can be considered Larnaca Downtown), less than 1 km from Kastela Beach and 1.8 km from MacKenzie. They can be reached easily by Bus #425 from/to the airport (only around 5 min ride and costs 1.50 € one way per person).
Our apartment (2nd floor - buidling has elevator) had 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 people), a living room with kitchenette and big balcony. I didn't get the TV to work - ask about it if you need it. The WIFI worked good and was fast.
AC in the bedrooms worked, there's no AC in the living room. Guests are supposed to keep windows and balcony door shut if not in the apartment, which heats up the place really fast in summer.
Next to the apartment complex currently (2019) is a construction site for a new and bigger apartment building. Work starts at 8 am.
If you don't want to cook yourself you'll find a bunch of good restaurants (fish and seafood, traditional and Souvlaki) within walking distance.
As this place does not have a reception you might want to specify your arrival time and let the owner know you are on the way. This was the only downer to the stay. We were early and waited another 1 hrs after the communicated arrival time before we were able to reach the owner who sent someone over.
If you find yourself in this situation and have internet or a local (or european) sim card call the number on your reservation. Alternatively you can also take your car or a taxi and go to Zakos Restaurant at the far end of MacKenzie Beach which is run by the apartments owner.

Opholdet her var langt fra en dans på roser.
Til at starte med skal man ringe for at få fat på nøglen. Manden der svarer telefonen taler udelukkende græsk. Det lykkedes at få ham lokket til lejligheden med hjælp fra en taxachauffør. Manden der dukker op er selvsamme mand, vi stadig ikke kan kommunikere med. Han beder om penge på trods lejligheden var betalt hjemmefra. Langt om længe får vi ham smidt ud ved at stikke ham €10. Da vi efterfølgende inspicerer lejligheden, er der 2 defekte airconditions, samt ødelagte gardiner i en generelt nedslidt lejlighed. Vi har lejet en anden lejlighed, hvor vi beslutter at rykke til allesammen. Vi meddeler ikke udlejer at vi flytter og tager nøglerne med da vi går. Tanken er at vi på sidstedagen vil lægge nøglerne tilbage i lejligheden. Til vores store skræk ser vi at lejligheden har været lejet ud til andre personer i vores lejeperiode. Jeg vil bestemt ikke råde folk til at besøge dette sted.

This is NOT a hotel. It is an apartment in a residential are. Had some trouble communicating with the owners. And no wifi which made things difficult. Otherwise it was comfortable, quiet and clean. Perfect for a family or 2 couples spending a few days in Cyprus. A 5 minute walk to the beach.

Als low standard Übernachtungsmöglichkeit gut geeignet. Alles sauber und zweckmässig

This place is cheap but its only 10 minutes walk from town so you can't complain too much. It was a real hassle trying to get the owner to come and drop the key off when I didn't have a local cellphone. The room was basic but tidy, however there were not enough blankets or pillow cases for both guests and there was no toilet paper at all.
It was OK to stay for 2 nights but no longer.

Got there and no one turned to open the door till the next morning

There has been a lot of trouble with the owner, who didn't even show himself (even though we had already paid!) and didn't want to give us a room, saying that had sent an email two days before (but he couldn't show us because his mobile wasn't working...yeah). After we threatened to call the police, he gave us a room, with all broken AC, no towels and dirty beds. True impostor. 0 out of 10

Если на 1-2 ночи - ок.
Хозяева замороженные, ключи везли час, в обговоренное время за ключами не приехали. Мы оставили на столе.
Жильё не свежее. Все дверные ручки болтаются
