The breakfast was lovely and done to my liking.There was nicely cooked 2 rashers of bacon, a sausage, an egg, beans, mushrooms, hash browns and a grilled tomato and two pieces of toast. I also had a pot of tea with milk and an apple juice with ice. I then decided to have a latte which was just as nice as all the rest. My room was a good size with a wardrobe, set of draws with kettle, tea, coffee,sugar and milk provided and two cups with teaspoons. The room was comfortable with en suite so I had a nice stay. Dinner was in the bar via a menu that had a range of chose at reasonable prices.
The only thing I can think of was a small problem with the hot water tap which was going to be sorted as soon as possible. Other then that I had a lovely stay .

Well situated for my needs. Great atmosphere in the bar and dining room. Good food. Wonderfully friendly staff
A minor item. Layout of bathroom in room 4. But far, far outweighed by the positives.
The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Food was really good value as well.
So the place looks a little bit faded but that didn’t put us off really and everything was really clean.

The radiator in the main room didn't work. So cold. Extractor fan in bathroom very loud. Im almost completely deaf with hearing aids and could still hear it.

Radiator didn’t turn off in bathroom so very hot and had to have windows open, which allowed noise in from outside affecting sleep.
The staff were all lovely, welcoming & helpful.
It's a pub with rooms. Rooms are slightly tired & definitely budget, but that's fine cos so is the price. The breakfast was ok, but maybe a bit overpriced compared to similar alternatives.
No one is on duty at night. You can't refund if you don't check in.
