Great locale, near the Eiffel Bridge, restaurants, and close to Gaia!
Rooftop bar was fun and nice to get some late afternoon sun with light breezes! Very pleasant, but it would have been nice to have some snacks to eat whole drinking!
Our shower had mildew stains in corners, near the rails for the doors. Rather unpleasant to look at, otherwuse the room was great!
It would have been nice to have a 3rd key card for the AC to run and stay cool so when we returned it was comfortable. We ended up leaving a key card there to do just that instead of having it on us. I knownit can be done as the Eurostar Hotel in Lisboa does it that way. Just my thought...
I don't know if ypu have a pillow menu, but it would have been helpful to know as ours were kinds of mushy.
Lovely location-a little away from the busy part of Porto.
It was lovely walking along the river to the activities which are in close proximity to the hotel.
Enjoyed the breakfast and the rooftop bar area.
Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Apples and pastries available at reception.
At times the reception area appeared under-resourced.
A few times we tried to order food in the casual eating area which is supposedly open during certain hours, but struggled to get service.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt like a little slice of paradise. We were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the sea, and there was something truly magical about sitting outside at sunrise with a coffee or unwinding in the evening as the colours of the sky faded into the horizon, simply watching the world drift by.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay—warm, welcoming, and always eager to help. A special mention goes to Helen, whose local knowledge and thoughtful recommendations led us to some wonderful places to eat, explore, and experience the city like true travellers rather than tourists.
The location could not have been better. Just a short stroll from the heart of the city, it gave us easy access to Porto’s vibrant atmosphere while still providing a peaceful retreat. We particularly loved wandering along the riverside, discovering hidden corners, and stopping for a drink whenever a café or scenic viewpoint caught our eye.
Porto itself is a city full of character, colour, and charm. From its historic streets and striking architecture to its lively culture and welcoming spirit, there was always something new to discover. We embraced every moment and left with unforgettable memories, grateful for an incredible stay and eager to return one day.
We enjoyed our time at the hotel Eurostars Porto Douro. We will be back again
