Great location, staff and hotel.
My only criticism is that I booked for a king size bed and they gave me double beds saying they didn’t have any left. But when I booked it over a month ago, it was for a king.
I looked on Expedia to see if I can book a king that same day and it was available.
Chose to stay here as it was in Myeondong and we have stayed at numerous IHG hotels in the past. Let’s start by saying the rooms are extremely small and the views were lacking. The lounge was decent and the breakfast downstairs was quite nice.
ベッドがとても気に入りました!よく眠れた。立地も最高で駅の出口からも近い。飲食店も多く、コンビニとカフェが1階にあるのも便利です。掃除も普通にキレイで、バスマットだけ無かったけれど大した問題ではないのでそのまま頼まずに2泊しました。日本語を話す人はほとんどいなさそうですが、英語はスタッフさん全員が話します。また利用します。

I booked a deluxe room with one king bed for 5 nights for a trip with my husband. However, when I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, I was given a room with two single beds instead.
The frontdesk staff informed me that my reservation was marked as a ‘random room’ and said there were no king bedrooms available until the 4th day of my stay.
I reconfirmed my booking on Hotels.com and it clearly showed a king bedroom. I contacted Hotels.com customer service, who first suggested a room change or partial refund. When I asked for a king room, they told me the hotel would contact me directly, but it was already late, past 10 PM, and I hadn’t even had dinner yet. I went to the frontdesk directly but the hotel staff reiterated that they had already informed the agency no king bedrooms were available. I felt very helpless in this situation. I requested a partial refund through Hotels.com, but although my message was shown and read, I never received a response. I followed up again yesterday but still no reply.
I want to note that the hotel staff were kind and I have stayed at this hotel four times before with no issues. However, the poor communication and lack of accountability from Hotels.com ruined this trip. I expected much better coordination and customer support.
喫煙する所は無くても、結局喫煙してるので、灰皿は用意してもいいかなと思います。

Close to subway station and namdaemun. Walking distance to shinsagae department store. There's a coffee and dessert place downstairs and convenience store on premise. Very convenient! Best thing is limousine bus from airport comes to the front door to this hotel! To go back to airport, it's just a 2 min walk away across the road!

We booked this hotel due to its location, next to the subway station and one of the bus stops for the airport limousine bus. However, we were disappointed with the check-in reception as well as the lack of communication from the hotel. After we completed our check-in, we went back to reception to enquire about the airport limousine bus schedule. Only then did the staff realised that she had forgotten to inform us that there will be an outage of power supply to the entire hotel due to a electrical safety inspection for 3 hours on our 2nd night of stay. The hotel did not highlight this during our booking, nor informed us by email before we arrive for our stay (Expedia did not highlight this as well). If this is a mandatory inspection, the date should have been known beforehand and the hotel should announce this publicly and inform guests whom have made reservations, and offer the option to guests to either keep or cancel the reservation. Unfotunately, we were left with no such choice but to stay in the room with no aircon, no TV, no hot bath water, and in darkness (saved for the emergency light at the room entrance). The only saving grace was that power was restored an hour later, earlier than the 3 hours stated. It was unfortunate our stay experience was marred by this incident.
Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, and great easy food options for both Westerners with picky kids and delicious Korean food.
バスルームから水のにおいか、なにかにおいを、感じた。コーヒーマシーンが壊れてた。冷蔵庫が小さくて買ったものが冷やせなかった。
立地がとてもよくて動きやすかった。スタッフの対応はとてもよくて安心して宿泊できた。
明洞、南大門にもアクセスがよく便利でした。
ホテルも新しく、とても快適です。ウェルカムスイーツがあったり、冷蔵庫の中の飲み物がフリーで、清掃のたびに補充してくれるのもポイントが高いですね!
